  The hubs and I wanted something easy for dinner so we stopped at Jimmy John’s for a sandwich. The lady at the counter was welcoming while a gentleman busily mopped and cleaned the dining area. We ordered a bootlegger to share. Without super high expectations, it was just a sandwich after all, we sat to partake of our dinner. This sandwich was DELICIOUS!!! The gentleman making the sandwich gave attention to detail which we greatly appreciated! Never did we expect such an amazing sandwich from fast food. The sandwich was super fresh with just the right amount of each ingredient. Great job Jimmy John’s in Hammond, La. Wow! What a wonderfully delectable sandwich!

  I recently visited Jimmy John's and unfortunately left feeling uncomfortable and disappointed with my experience. I placed my order through the app expecting a smooth and professional transaction. After completing my order, I was called up to the counter where the employee printed an additional receipt and asked me to leave a tip. I felt as though being pressured to leave a tip was inappropriate and unnecessary, especially after already finalizing payment through the app. I believe in tipping when it’s earned through exceptional service, but in this case, it didn’t feel warranted. Being put on the spot made the interaction awkward and unnecessary. I understand businesses may provide the option to tip, but customers shouldn’t feel pressured or uncomfortable when making that choice. In addition, the staff’s professionalism was lacking. Employees were sitting at a guest table during their shift. They were not wearing any uniform, and some were not dressed appropriately. This did not reflect a clean or professional environment. The employees kept staring at us and we overheard them speaking about us.Overall, this led to a very uncomfortable and unwelcoming atmosphere. I hope management addresses these concerns so future customers can have a more positive and professional experience.

  The food is very good. Friendly staff. The men's restroom needs work.
