Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I've paid for invisible bacon, paid for a bacon cheeseburger and a mile down the road opened my burger and it was a chicken sandwich, and wrong drinks served. If you go to the Deridder location be sure to check all your food before driving away from the drive through or eating your food inside the store.

When grandma got out of the car to help the burger fell out of the car and onto the concrete. It was a fluke accident but the burger wash trash at that point. My child felt so bad and had big tears. I felt bad for my child knowing accidents happen and this one had never happened before. So I asked the employee if they could ring me up for another one and I’d be willing to pull up and wait. Maybe they saw what happened I don’t know but they said don’t worry about it we will make you another one. I couldn’t believe it. That was so very kind!! Thanks DeRidder Whataburger!
- BBBrittney BestJun 2, 20262.0Ive only been here a few times and most weren't that great. Two times my burger had pink in the middle so now I only order chicken from them. Several times I've had too wait at least 30 minutes. Most of the staff has been nice but the overall business could be better.
