First time patron and will be back. Tried to ask questions about the food like what else was in the white rice. Manager Michael was too in a hurry to explain it had a Qdoba spice in it. Really pushed me to quickly decide without information. Chicken was so dry, and manager threatening staff with a write up that I could hear at the door. Employees appeared scared. Very loud as the owners who are connected to Jersey Mikes. Threw most of it away. Was told everything was the same price. Charged extra for grisly overcooked beef. Going to Chipotle's. Buyer beware. 17 dollars wasted

Definitely better than Chipotle. My husband and I love going here because they don’t overcharge you like literally every other food place!! Customer service was awesome!
Have been recommending this place to many people.

I hesitated writing this review because I don’t want to seem like I’m dogging on a store that just opened but I go to chipotle frequently enough to compare the two and have worked in food service previously so I have an idea of what New Restaurant Openings SHOULD look like.
I went on the opening day around noon. The only person to greet us walking in the store was a regular employee on the line, Luke. Luke was the only person in the store with a shred of enthusiasm about being there, he actually let us know about some of the (free) offerings on the line and asked us about our days, personable small talk. The shift manager on the register seemed annoyed that Luke didn’t know what size the Queso reward from the app was, which was confusing, and corrected him in front of us which was awkward! he also rather than let the mistake stand went ahead and took the larger queso away from me, which is fair enough but kinda weird to see as working in food service in the past almost any minor mistake like that usually just gets given to the customer.
Finally and slowly, I got my food.
The portion sizes were pretty paltry, but it is nice that they had free guac/queso. The steak was just awful and had clearly been sitting out for a while. I don’t understand the point of being stingy on your FIRST DAY OPEN. That’s literally the day where you are making the impression on any first time customers. The queso was good but that’s about it.
As we ate, we also saw and heard the store manager walking around with whoever His boss was, and he proceeded to ream Luke out again over the Queso mistake loud enough for the whole restaurant to hear. He had already apologized and understood the mistake to the first manager. Luke then went on break and let two men who walked in at the same time go ahead of him in line, which feels like common sense. Finally the store manager yells at him in front of the (now pretty full) store to not do that or he’ll get a longer break. Yeah maybe but the line moving slowly is really not his fault LOL.
Just embarrassing to see I guess. I wanted to have another nearby competitor to chipotle but the food excluding the queso was worse and how they treated the only employee with any energy while providing incompetent service (without that many customers in line when I was ordering) was gross to me.
I hope whoever concerned can read this with an open mind and not get defensive because I mean it honestly, this was an awful first impression and the grown men involved should just know better in general.

New location.. the service was okay, doesn’t fell too welcoming. The food also was not that good, no taste to it. Will come back in the future to see if it improved. The amount of food was very little for the price we paid. $12. Chipotle has larger portions and flavorful chicken.
