Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Waited 40 mins for my food ordered online waited in lobby watching cashier bring out other online orders except mine which she placed on the DoorDash rack without saying anything to me until I asked for a refund after watching people who ordered after me receive their food to which she said it’s been sitting there so 40mins and cold food a melted drink and no refund or replacement since the manager wasn’t any better to talk to horrible service and attitude

I came here with a group of friends from work looking to destress, socialize, and simply enjoy a good meal. The only good thing about this experience was the milkshake that I got. About 30 minutes in to our dining experience, half of us had gotten our food after hearing our order numbers yelled loudly and clear— a simple, but much appreciated practice. However, half of us had not received our food. Simply curious, one person in my group approached the worker and asked about a status update one our food. What seemed to be a manager of some sort proceeded to walk from behind the counter to scream at the entire restaurant to tell us that “if [we] haven’t received [our] food, it’s [our] fault because [we] weren’t listening” and that “maybe if [we] would shut up then [we] would actually have [our] food.” I’m so infuriated, and will never return to this establishment. Do better.

Got a free banana milkshake and it was great! Terrific crew atmosphere with upper management supervision.

If there was a 0 I would do a 0. Ordered my food 20 minutes before showing up on the APP. Waiting 10 minutes in store and ended up asking for a refund. Which they could no do. So I said screw it and left. One of these days I’m going to get a job here and fix it, just to prove it’s not freaking hard

Absolutely the worst food I have ever consumed or even seen from a fast food restaurant. We ordered two of the "new" bacon steakhouse doubles, which I always usually get the sweet and spicy burger bit decided to try something new this time. Man, was that a bad decision! The burgers both looked like they were cooked and wrapped at lunch time and kept in a heater box until 9pm at night. They were dry as heck, the cheese looked like melted plastic and they were put together poorly. The fries were cold. The only thing that was even somewhat edible was the shakes! What a waste of 40 dollars! I do not understand how someone can serve that knowing good dang well, they wouldn't eat it themselves. How absolutely disgusting! Not ti mention the employee at the front counter acted like we were a burden when taking our order. The worst experience by far! As much as the food costs here, you would think it would be better than that! Do better Whataburger.
