  Tony's has good fresh and boiled seafood. My only complaint...For blue crabs they charge by the pound instead of by the dozen. August 2026 - 1 dozen blue crabs $106!!! Size - Medium/Large 😳

  My shrimp and catfish was terrible the coleslaw was saturated with mayonnaise and the fries were greasy. So dissatisfied

  This is one of my favorite seafood place in Baton Rouge. While Tony’s Seafood located middle of the hood, not recommended for you to go after sunset. BUT! they have incredible lines of authentic Louisiana seafood. Let's talk about food... it has unbeatable flavor!!! The food itself is outstanding. The boiled crawfish is perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of kick, and the fried catfish.... is just right and light, juicy inside and crispy outside, and cooked to order. You must try their gumbo.. a bit salty but still A! This is very close to the best seafood gumbo I had at the Filet&Vine in Montgomery Alabama. ​Now.. talk about service and staff.. The servers.... staff was completely indifferent. Rude and blunt responses and sometimes you will get rolled eyes. Ordering and picking up food feels chaotic. Orders were mixed up, items were missing from bags, and no one seemed interested in correcting the mistakes. ​ The market is located in a rough neighborhood, making parking and getting in and out feel uncomfortable, especially after dark. The lack of security presence combined with the unwelcoming attitude inside makes the whole trip feel like a hassle rather than an enjoyable outing. ​If you are strictly going for quick(?) takeout and don't care about how you're treated, the food delivers. But if you value basic customer service and a smooth overall experience, go somewhere. Again, despite all the negative things... I will go again for my fried catfish and a cup of gumbo.

  Tony's, I just watched a video about how the atmosphere, the vibe in there is. You know, I live in Texas now and the last two times I've visited, the video is dead on. I thought it was me, but I see that everyone are feeling the same way. My question is now, are you guys threatening the workers? Why are no one friendly there anymore? Customer service is a virtue. You guys have lost it, that pizzazz that you once had. I don't know, maybe because what I see here in Texas was what I once saw in Tony's, that spark. Honestly, you need that back. The surrounding community embraced Tony's, so please, don't forget about the community that has supported you throughout the years. Oh, and the food is dwindling. As a once regular customer, I would like to only wish and hope for the best. We are family
