- ACAva CastroAug 24, 20263.0My husband and I went to the Saltgrass in Baton Rouge, LA on Saturday, August 22nd. We sat at the bar. Our "waiter" was "SGBA BAR CARD 01". She was about as personable as a rattlesnake. My husband ordered a bottled Michelob Ultra which was barely chilled. Temperature of 40 degrees is NOT cold. He had to get a glass of ice so therefore he didn't have his normal three beers. I would have gotten two beers if it would have been cold. I had soup & salad, both were good: the salad was awesome. Husband ordered a cheeseburger. It was average. They brought it out with no mayo or mustard. We never saw salt & pepper shakers. Before Covid, this place was good. Now, not so much anymore.

Server fixed the issue right away and brought extra fries that were delicious. The atmosphere was Def for meat eaters w deer heads and hunting paraphernalia all over the walls. Kinda gross appearance for a restaurant but the food was wonderful.
