  2026, the start of fall, Baton Rouge. Their customer service dominance against all in the pizza field is starting to get obnoxiously better in the all around experience over their competitors. I placed my order for Papa John's this morning. I drove to the wrong store because I was still kind of tired. I had the money in my hand. I was nice, I said hey to the store, the customers said hey back. I was in the wrong store for a good 15 min. Their staff looked through me, I was thinking, " O.K. they might be busy I'll wait not a problem. "10 mins went by, a new customer walked through the door, the guy on the register immediately takes that customer's order. When they're finished and I was about to ask a question. A text message pops up saying my Papa John's order is ready to pick up. I've been in a whole pizza hut getting ghosted for 10-25 mins. Lol, Sure enough, I drove to Papa John's, and they'd just finished serving the last customer. The person at the register smiled as if she could still smell the competitors failure on my expression. The conversation was naturally short. There was a guy in a red shirt that came up for perfection reassurance. He asked my name for carry out twice, looked at the money in my hand and proceeded to the back. "Those hustlers ran a play on me and I liked it." She counted the money, made me smile, and said something like, "don't be afraid to stop by again". The product was better than I recalled. They have the best pizza. The best customer service. And now you can get 2 large pizzas for $22 if you order online. Lol, This just ain't fair no more. I'm embarrassed to admit I was somewhere else by mistake. In Baton Rouge, Most places have employees that are better at learning how to deal with something wrong or teaching how to avoid what not to do rather than working the actual fundamentals of the job itself. There is a new saying, If both your hands are too invested in C.Y.A. Your hands-on production will have a "messy" outcome every time. If everything is all good, it could be better, till it's perfect. When perfection has been reached, then timing, and service. I swear every time that lady and I agreed on something with a smile another perfect pizza popped out of nowhere. That's just the magic of Papa John's. I've been here for 6 years. I don't even know where the domino's is. The place in between seigen lane and burbank is just another pizza hut. But that Papa John's around the corner from either one of them. No matter who's in there. They know their better. Just too good...consistently tho.

  I usually pick up my pizza’s from this location and they are always super friendly. I decided to order for delivery of two pizzas this evening and it was the quickest I’ve ever had a pizza delivered, ever. It was also freshly warm on delivery. This Papa John’s location has it figured out! Well done 💯
