    Honestly I love coming here. I work at Tractor Supply next door and Topical Smoothie has become part of my daily routine! It's a bit expensive, but it's worth it to know I'm eating healthier and it tastes SO GOOD

    Tropical Smoothie Café in Shepherdsville is one of those places that just puts you in a better mood! 🌴🥤 I’ve tried several different smoothies and drinks here, including the pineapple smoothie, and they’ve all been solid. Everything is refreshing, flavorful, and perfect when you’re looking for something a little lighter but still satisfying. The staff have always been friendly, the service is usually quick, and the whole place has that fun tropical vibe that makes you feel like you should be sitting on a beach somewhere instead of running errands in Shepherdsville. 😂🌺 I’ll definitely keep coming back to try different smoothies and food options. There’s always something good to choose from, and you really can’t go wrong with a cold Tropical Smoothie on a hot day!

    I will say normally service and food here are good at best, standard at worst. However, today's service was so bad, that frankly it needs to be mentioned. I placed a pick up order at 1:04 pm with a pick up time at 1:16 pm. I arrived at 1:12 pm, and waited at the counter to let a cashier know I was there. I was looked at, walked by, and only after someone else came in and stood in line was I greeted, which by then was past 1:20 pm. I was told the order would be ready soon. I will give them the benefit, as today was the busiest I had ever seen. Normally I would chalk it up to a busy day and let it be. The reason I am not, is because the workers constantly kept asking if I was another customer, while to my lack of knowledge, my food sat ready on the table getting cold. My smoothies, which were the hold up, apparently we're not important enough to complete before other customers came in, ordered their food and smoothies, and received them before I did. For my pick up order I didn't receive until 1:47 pm. The gentleman working the register gave the excuse, "drive thru and online orders were busy today." That would be understandable, if my food wasn't sitting getting soggy and cold, and my smoothies made dead last after people who didn't place online orders and didn't have to wait over 20 minutes for their meal or smoothies. There were also no drive thru orders while I waited either. Overall, it probably was a simple overlook, a failed communication between stations, or just a mishap of things. That being said, no comp, discount, free cookie, or even the offer of remaking my wrap and panini, which were cold and soggy, was really the kicker. Just a shrug, sorry we're busy, as if that was up to me. This location doesn't have to worry about being busy from me any further. The location in hillview has better service and a lot quicker turn out times.

    We came in when they were closing and he stayed open so that we could get a smoothie just after they closed up. Management was so polite and helpful with my order!
