    Jimmy John’s in Richmond has been as great for the past year or 2, but today when I walked in there was an employee sitting in the front window drinking a bottle of cough syrup straight from the bottle, and then left the bottle sitting at the table while she went back to work. Just odd, doesn’t seem like something that should be going down in a restaurant. First of all if you’re sick and coughing all the time, go home, I don’t need anyone coughing on my sandwich. And if you aren’t sick, why are you sitting down drinking a bottle of prescription cough syrup at work? Side note: for the first time in 2 years this jimmy John’s got my order wrong. I ordered a chicken bacon ranch and instead of ranch there was some sort of Italian dressing poured on it, and the chicken is completely MISSING. How do you forget the chicken and the ranch on a chicken bacon ranch??? This has been one of the most reliable places in Richmond to eat for me recently, but it looks like that’s going away with their recent staff changes. Lettuce isn’t as fresh as usual either.

    I ordered a regular chicken bacon ranch sub and it came with virtually zero chicken. I opened it up to remove the onions because it wasn’t made correctly. I could not believe how little chicken there was inside. I took it back and politely asked for some chicken. The young lady was very nice and apologized, offering to make me a new sub. She did and I went back to the table and found almost the exact same amount of chicken, maybe a tad more. See photo. I will never eat there again. Complete rip-off.

    Sat in the drive-thru for over 20 min before I finally gave up and drove away. I was told "just a moment" at the beginning, but after 20 min and asking if anyone was there....nothing. I understand being busy inside, but no acknowledgement or update is a bit over the top as far as bad service goes. Its a shame.

    We love JJ but we don't order it often because of this particular store. It always takes an hour or so for orders to make it us (we live right off the next exit). And sandwiches never come to us the way we order them. Ingredients are missing and there's always something added we didn't ask for. Sandwiches are sloppy. They're not marked or cut. It's just a mess. This is an unwich I recently ordered. I couldn't even eat it. So I cut it up and ate it like a salad.
