I have been going to this Chick-fil-A for a couple of years now and have NEVER had a bad experience! The food is always good and the staff is great with amazing customer service. Even during a rush, the staff will take time out of their day to greet you with a smile on their face :)!

I honestly can’t tell if it’s a hiring issue, a management issue, or both at the Chick-fil-A in Paducah, Kentucky—but the produce quality is consistently terrible. I stopped ordering salads because I kept finding little pieces of lettuce that were black and slimy. Then I switched to grilled chicken sandwiches, only to get lettuce that was brown and wilted. There is no fresh crunch at all, and the tomatoes are so soft and watery that they fall apart the second you try to bite through the sandwich. Complaining in the store does not solve anything. Employees will stand there like polite little robots and replace the item over and over, but there is no emotion, no apology, no manager being called over, and no attempt to figure out why the food being served is clearly not up to standard. It is just, “Here’s another one,” as if replacing three bad salads with three more bad salads is customer service. I understand that employees may not control the condition of the ingredients delivered to the store. But they do control whether they are honest about it. If every salad looks questionable, say that. Don’t keep swapping items and acting surprised when the replacement has the same issue. At some point, someone needs to acknowledge that the produce should not be served. And for a place known for “My pleasure,” I have yet to hear it once at this location. Everyone is technically polite. Nobody argues. But politeness is not the same thing as caring. Nobody seems willing to go beyond the bare minimum to find out why the food is poor, correct the issue, or make the customer feel like the concern matters. I even watched someone in management walking around the dining area asking customers whether they needed drink refills and whether everything was okay. Well, no—it wasn’t. I was hungry, and it is hard to believe the staff is unaware of the condition of the produce being put on sandwiches and salads. And if they truly are unaware, then they are only doing part of the job. I worked at Chick-fil-A just after high school. I saw very different management styles. I watched one manager lose a store over noncompliance, roaches, and dirty equipment. I watched another allow personal drama and favoritism to interfere with how the store was run. So I understand that leadership can make or break a location. But even with all of that, I never saw bad food quality—or employee indifference toward it—become acceptable. This location needs someone to pay attention to what is being served, stop treating repeated complaints like an inconvenience, and take food quality seriously. Shorter, sharper version The Chick-fil-A in Paducah, Kentucky has a serious produce-quality problem. I stopped ordering salads because I kept getting black, slimy lettuce. Now my grilled chicken sandwiches come with brown, wilted lettuce and tomatoes so soft they collapse when you bite into the sandwich. Nothing about it tastes fresh. What makes it worse is that complaining gets you endless replacements—but no real concern. No apology, no manager, no explanation, and no one acknowledging that if all three salads look bad, the issue is not the customer’s order. It is the produce being served. I understand employees may not control what comes in on the truck. But they can be honest and say, “We don’t have good produce today,” instead of repeatedly handing customers another version of the same problem. I worked at Chick-fil-A after high school, so I know the standard is supposed to be higher than “technically polite.” I have never seen poor food quality and complete indifference treated as normal. This location needs better quality checks, better management follow-through, and someone willing to care before the customer has to complain three times.

Food is always good here. I was ordering food and was casually talking to the nice woman making my drink that I was going to the hardware store to buy moving boxes. A gentleman named Levi asked if he could give me boxes that were about to be thrown out and gave me some so I didnt have to go the the hardware store. Awesome people.
