Well I ordered through Uber Eats. Chicken Milanese and salad wedge. There was no where on the site to put extra marinara sauce, and of course, when I get it, they had 2 teaspoons full of marinara sauce for a whole container full of pasta. SMH. I will be going there tomorrow for an entire new order. Also the salad wedge is severely overpriced. $15 for a couple pieces of lettuce.
However I did like how they stapled my bag to be delivered.

This place has gone down hill. Haven’t been here in about 3 years and probably won’t be back. Had a reservation on Mother’s Day and the restaurant wasn’t even full. No silverware, an iced tea was ordered and brought back with no ice. Took another 30 minutes for the kids to get their drinks. My wife and mom got the chicken Marsala. They forgot to cook my mom’s Marsala so that took another 10 minutes. The Marsala tasted like they opened a canned Heinz brown gravy and just poured it on the chicken. The bathrooms are filthy. The fact that our bill was $166 dollars for 4 of us (including tip, which I really shouldn’t have even entertained) is a crime. Should have just gone to Olive Garden. Better food, service, and way cheaper. The fact that a side salad is an additional $8 is a crime as well. The side salad was loaded with about 100 black olives. It was inedible. A kids meal is $11!!!! For chicken tenders and what was basically Ortega fries. Oh and butter noodles that cost $1 to make. This place sucks now and we should get an apology and a FULL Refund.

Booked a reservation at 6:00 p.m. on marathon weekend. We expected it to be busy, and that's okay, but this was a whole different level of chaos. We were told by the hostess that they "overbooked" and that she "had no idea when we'd get a table". We were told all the servers were busy and with large parties. There were multiple empty tables directly behind the hostess. We waited around 30 minutes past our reservation to be seated. The bread was okay, and we got our drinks quickly, but waited 45 minutes for our food. Sitting right next to the kitchen/serving counter, we noticed multiple plates crammed on the counter waiting to be taken to tables and at least a dozen salads on the opposite side. We finally get our food. The sausage carbonara was a laughably small portion, missing ingredients, the fried egg was cold, and my SO's mashed potatoes were so cold they had formed a smooth flat bottom and could be lifted up as a whole with a fork. We flagged down our waitress who offered to either comp the meal or remake it. We chose to have it remade, waited 20+ more minutes. This time, the food was actually hot, my portion was larger, had all the ingredients, etc. However, $30 for what was mostly pasta, a few slivers of sausage, a fried egg and a pool of grease at the bottom was ridiculous. Our waitress genuinely tried her best, but this was one of the, if not the worst restaurant experience of my life. No managers ever came to talk to us, all the staff were overworked, reservations didn't matter, and disappointing food. We will not be back and will not be telling anyone who visits Newport to go there.
Do yourself a favor and find another Italian restaurant nearby; there wasn't a single redeeming thing to say about our pricy experience here.

We made a reservation for 5, 6:15pm. With the marathon weekend we expected crowds. Arrived 6:10, got to host table 6:15 and were told minimum 40 more minutes’ wait. With limited options, we waited. At 6:50 we were seated. I’m ne server brought us drinks but said she’s not our server. Then our actual server came. Idk their name. Took orders. Food took a bit but we got our appetizer and bread quickly which were good (bruschetta sampler) but daughter’s mango iced tea just tasted like unsweet tea even after they “remade” it.
My food, spaghetti & meatballs, was tepid. I cut into a meatball and it was ice cold inside. All were cold inside. We flagged down a random server because ours kept disappearing. She apologized profusely and said she’d remake it. A full 20 minutes passed, nothing. We decided to go as by then we’d been there nearly 2 hours and my husband is running the marathon tomorrow. We tried to pay but rhere was a delay. The manager DID apologize and took two entrees off our bill but my goodness! One of the most chaotic, frustrating dinners out we’ve had ever!

We had a very disappointing experience this past Friday on what should have been a special night—my son’s prom.
A group of 10 teenagers arrived on time for their 6:00 PM reservation and were seated promptly. The restaurant was not overly busy so expectations were reasonable. However, after placing their orders they waited over an hour with no food. At the 1.5-hour mark they informed their server that they needed to leave for prom which started at 8:00 PM and were reassured that the food was “coming.”
By 7:40 PM—still with no food delivered—they had no choice but to ask for their checks so they wouldn’t miss the dance. Shockingly, they were given their bills and charged in full despite never receiving their meals at the table. They then had to request that their food be boxed to go. None of them were able to actually eat before leaving.
As parents, we called the restaurant while they were still waiting and asked to speak with a manager. We were told all managers were busy and to call back the next day. When we tried to explain the situation the staff member acknowledged they “thought they knew which party this was,” and then put us on hold and then never came back. We called back but no one answered the phone.
To make matters worse, my son didn’t even end up eating the food—his to-go box sat in his car all night and was thrown away the next morning.
This was a frustrating and disappointing experience especially for a group of kids who were trying to enjoy a memorable prom night and didn’t feel comfortable advocating for themselves. Paying for a meal you never receive in a timely manner is unacceptable.
Based on this experience I would not recommend this restaurant for large groups or for any occasion where timing matters.
