  We drove in from Kansas City, so we’re always looking to compare barbecue across the country. The smoked chicken was tender with the perfect amount of flavor and delicious barbecue sauce with a hint of sweet and tangy, a great blend. Not sure that it’s better than Kansas City barbecue but certainly in the competition.

  Take it from a southern boy(Texas) who loves his food... This food was "slap ya mama" good! Every single bite danced on the palate like Lord of the Dance and made you crave the next! We even got extras to go because we couldn't get enough. The fried green tomatoes set a very high expectation that continued to be exceeded. Best greens I've had in a VERY long time, Mac and cheese that makes you swoon, cheese grits that made time stand still... and pulled pork/meatloaf that were able to shine, even against those ridiculously good sides. Service was next to none. Out of towners who will make this spot a "Must Visit" every time we're in town. If you don't go, your older self WILL time travel to smack some sense into you!

  It’s hard to find good bbq but this is the place! We had ribs, wings, sweet potato’s, corn bread, collards, fried green tomatoes, grits. Everything was great! I’m kind of picky with my bbq too but the ribs were falling off the bone. For people talking about the atmosphere it definitely has like a southern cooking, bbq joint atmosphere. But service was fast for us. Waitress and cooks were sweet and engaged with us. We had a great experience. We will definitely be returning!

  Staff and food were amazing! Everyone had an great attitude and were very friendly. Even though it was raining outside and slow. Got the shrimp and grits, definitely different in a phenomenal way. Only down side is no drinks served. Apparently they don't have a liquor license, the bar tender said they were in the process of getting one. Also she said the AC wasn't working either. It was hott in certain areas. Hopefully they are able to get those things figured out soon. The food was amazing, just need the atmosphere to match.

  Man very disappointed as I had door dashed the day before and had your guy’s sweet potatoes and your service station burger that was a hit, went back to work to share with the guys since we’re from out of state and I convinced them to try it out only too look like a fool , waiter took our order and we waited about an hr and no food never showed up we even had to get up to ask for the water we ordered that we never got. What a disappointment. I was looking forward to that bbq platter and sweet potatoes!
