- EGEric G1 day ago5.0Oh yes! We have a real butcher shop in the East End... Southern Steer is so good... and don't be afraid as many times their cuts are better prices or comparable to local grocery stores. MUCH better quality at Siuthern Steer. And the owners are really nice people!

Their prices are competitive with local butchers, offering better quality food for slightly higher prices, unlike grocery stores that don't source their food transparently. Their chicken breasts are similarly priced but are marinated and of top quality, which I loved. Customer service was excellent, the place was clean, and they have a visible dry-aging area where you can view it and get specific cuts of meat.
