  I ordered the buffet. I had a spoonful of macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes and cottage cheese. Buffet was dried out and unappealing. Even the salad was wilted. I didn't complain, just paid and left. Total visit was maybe 10 minutes. Never again for any Shoney's. I had the same sort of experience in Tennessee last year

  ⚠️CHARGES service fee for using credit/debit card. Management should consider putting a BIG SIGN at check out counter giving notification and/ or Notifying ⚠️ customers BEFORE being seated.

  We may have picked a bad time to go but it was around 12:30 p.m. at that time we thought the food would be fresh, but it was not, and being that all the trays were almost empty we decided to eat anyways thinking they would refresh it soon, we were there 30 minutes before anything fresh came out. Then the waiter would walk all around us without refilling my drink. Once i asked for a refill she did keep it full. And when we went to leave my friend who was paying looked at the reciept and there was a $7 tip added to his bill. He said he didnt think he had done it but he dosent really know forsure also they charged 1$ extra just to use a card. And the drinks are 3$ and 29cents apiece thats ridiculous. The atmosphere was quiet and that was nice but it was because hardly nobody was there. The only reason i give a 3 star rating is the the guy who initially greeted and seated us had a great attitude, and he was quick with the drinks and had a overall good sense of professionalism about him.

  Greeted by our exotic server, Ms. Sanobia, we were led to a comfortable booth. Next, she served intoxicating, smooth coffee with lots of cream. Our buffet started with breakfast: wonderful scrambled eggs, mushrooms for the eggs, crispy bacon (lots of it). My husband and friend had french toast strips and pancakes with syrup and strawberries. There were sausage patties and other breakfast entrees as well as fruit and fresh salad fixings. A little later, 2 soups, ribs, and other lunch offerings were placed on the buffet bar. The manager, Stephan Dean, a fellow Veteran, knows how to talk with people, entertaining us for a few minutes and actually is quite educated (I grill people), I was impressed! Proven, when I witnessed how he de-escalated a frustrated homeless man seeking to barter for food. (A customer sponsored him.) Our server, Sanobia, was VERY PLEASANT and PROFESSIONAL and sought to make our meal enjoyable and met our every need. Stephan explained that, as a manager, he makes sure that we are treated as family. We all visited the buffet repetitively. Try it and tell Stephan hi!
