Food was fine as usually expected, but I went up to the counter only after I was halfway done with my meal to get some extra ketchup and tell me why there is a dude with his whole drawls out, pants under cheeks packing up fries and sandwiches, and nobody back there seemed to care at all... Just nasty. Will not be eating here again, I dont know about y'all but I did not order the booty dust fries... 🤢

I wanted to shout out the young person working last night (6/13, around 10:30 PM). They greeted me by name at the drive-thru window (thanks, mobile order) and were taking payments, taking orders, making the food and drinks. They told me they’d been solo in the store that evening. I’m not sure if there was someone on the grill or fryer perhaps who I couldn’t see, and the employee I spoke with was the only one servicing costumers, but it was dead and quiet inside. I sat nearby in the parking lot and ate and watched a bit, and it definitely took each car long enough at the window that I do imagine the employee was cooking as well. I fear even if there were more employees on shift, they still did not have enough help. By the time I left, there were about five cars in line. Anyone who’s worked food service, retail or hospitality knows how chaotic it gets. How much of a team sport it is. Good luck even getting a bathroom break sometimes. It’s a gauntlet to get through — especially on a Saturday evening! And that’s IF you have enough people to do the work. So I have to say on this person’s behalf — shame on this McDonald’s. Shame on all McDonald’s and any other business that treats their employees like this. Making someone do the jobs of several people in one shift while they still make MAAAAAYBE $15/hr. (which means they’d have to work about a whole hour just to afford a meal at that restaurant) IS EVIL. How is that humane? Why should someone have to either go through that or lose their job? The answer is “so we can understaff to save labor costs to make the shareholders happy! And then we’ll make employees work on skeleton crews, make it so they’ll feel guilty for calling in, even make them terrified to get sick. Hopefully they’ll start resenting one another for calling in and we can avoid blame entirely!” Your employer wants to work you to the bone. They do not care. There is someone waiting right behind you, ready to take your place. An endless supply for the corporate wood chipper. I’m sure the employee last night didn’t have a choice. Shame on McDonald’s and all the rich dudes who own local franchises — all of you have MORE than enough money to keep each store well-staffed. If not, go out of business. You’re not entitled to exploit people to make money for yourself. Nobody is entitled to run a business. But what we do owe our fellow humans is respect and dignity. The employee last night had that in spades but I can’t say the same for those who put them in that position.

They did not have any French fries! I got a regular hamburger. It smelled weird and tasted weird. I took one bite and spit it out and threw away the hamburger!! 🤮 Not friendly!! 😠
