Joe’s Crab Shack offers a variety of favorites from all parts of the sea and shore. From its extensive menu, guests can choose from buckets of seasonal seafood, fried shrimp platters and fish dishes, as well as options from the “mainland” that include steak, sandwiches, and chicken. Guests can indulge in over-sized and creative cocktails, such as the Shark Bite which is playfully garnished with a shark toy.
Since its inception, Joe’s popularity has stemmed not only from its menu, but also its retail store. With various pieces of merchandise for purchase, including the ever-popular tie-dye T-shirt with the phrase “Peace, Love and Crabs,” Joe’s has become synonymous with the word “fun.” Unforgettable moments await at our Louisville location and across the nation!
We stopped by around 6:00 pm on a Friday and got sat quickly in Alicia’s section. She was a huge sweetheart and had a great attitude. We were a larger group and had an issue with one dish, but it was resolved quickly. If I came again, I would absolutely ask to sit in Alicia’s section.
If you’re in town and looking for a yummy seafood dinner, Joe’s is worth coming to. The staff and service really stood out!

I am a bus driver we (2 additional drivers) brought an elementary school to Joe's for dinner. Approximately 150 guest in 3 charter buses. Joes had no parking for us and the recommendation was to park in a paid lot which would cost around 90.00 per bus. I think this is terrible service and planning on their behalf. I have no idea how the food is because we had to drive of into town to find parking where we unfortunately had to stay with the buses.

Worst food ever!!! I'm from Florida and the one in Daytona is way better. The service was crap. So was the management, very rude by the way. Only thing that was good, was our drinks which we had the hurricane cat. 5. Definitely will not be going back when we come to visit louisville again.

We visited in town for a concert...we haven't been to a Joe's Crab shack since they closed them down in Houston Texas and it was great to be dining again. We arrived closed to closing but the staff took us in and we received the best service and the food and drinks were great. My little family will return because we love this place

I have never been more disappointed in a restaurant, every bit of my boil was significantly over cooked to the point the shrimp was mush crab wouldnt peel, all bland and flavorless even though I got Cajun and hot spice even though all the same food was over cooked the corn and potatoes were under cooked definitely not worth the 140 I spent 😐 PLUS $15 FOR PARKING
