  This location has the best view and is pretty first of all. Most importantly the service was top notch!!! We had the warmest welcome and most accommodating staff all around including the greeter and other severs who didn't even wait on us,but were very sweet. Mike and Jason were so awesome ,kind, and helpful and made sure to be attentive and have an attitude that will make you want to come back. I think this is the best location yet! They will definitely treat you right here!

  On a couple of trips to Louisville we'd seen this place and wanted to try it (if nothing else for the view of the river). Service was fantastic (Kat was outstanding and attentive), and majority of the food was outstanding (minus watery/tasteless clam chowder and beer-battered fried fish with way too much batter). Drinks were well worth the money, and try the hush puppies!

  Michael was great! Kept my water glass full and went above and beyond to make sure my dining experience was great. The kitchen Manager even came out and explained the various types of Crab and which one was going to give me the bang for the buck. I came in pissed from a bad day at work and left with a smile on my face and a belly full of great tasting seafood…..by the way the Queen Crab is 🔥! Thank you Joe’s Crab-Louisville!! Definitely will visit again to see my new friends and eat the great seafood!

  Very disappointed with our experience at Joe's Crab Shack in Louisville. The restaurant was only about 40% full on a Friday night, yet the service was incredibly slow from start to finish. We waited far too long for our food, and when it finally arrived, the presentation was poor and looked rushed. To make matters worse, our to-go order was incorrect. We brought the issue to the staff's attention, but there was little effort made to correct the mistake or make things right. Customer service seemed to be an afterthought. Between the long wait, poorly presented food, incorrect order, and lack of concern from the staff, this was a frustrating dining experience. Unfortunately, we won't be returning. Unless....

  Got in town late for a concert, passed this restaurant on the way in. Outside is very attention grabbing. Staff was very eager to please, we came about 30min before close they treated us as if we had came at opening. Never once tried to rush us even asked the kitchen if they could provide us with dessert. As it was late and we didnt want to inconvenience them. Very sweet people manager was also very attentive. Ordered a mixed drink and the bartender even added multiple pieces of 🍍 to make it look like a palm tree. Over all a wonderful experience ✨️ we will go again (as it was our 1st time)
