  This is one of my favorite places to eat I always get the chicken soup which is amazing and they started selling shakes. The shakes here are the best shakes I've ever had in my life. I've been to 10 different places order in shakes and nothing compares to their shakes I go out of my way to come here to get the shakes and the chicken soup almost daily. I've tried several of their food items and have not had any disappointments yet wish I could get away from the chicken soup and try something different but so good maybe one day!

  Some of the best chicken we've ever had! My husband was making mmmm so good sounds with every bite. It was flavorful all the way through, tender and juicy. Not a dry spot in it. Also it was not spicy, just full of smoke and seasoning. Atmosphere is like a small diner. It was clean and the decor matches the sign. And service was about the same. Friendly, but nothing over the top. They did let me keep the bottlecaps from our Mexican cokes :) Now.. I dipped the stars for the food score because the American sides were average at best. The fries were fresh and crisp, so that was good. The pinto beans needed to simmer longer so the soup could thicken some. His mac tasted like it came from a box. Doable but nothing to get excited over. My husband doesn't like strange food, so it was his loss with fries and mac. I had the Chaufa Rice and it was so good! The rice was light, not sticky, and the vegies were so small, but each leant its own little pop of flavor that made the taste elevate a little more. Here is my personal recommendation. If the sides sound like you are ordering something foreign, then it's probably gonna taste amazing! I've never had anything like it. It was just as flavorful and of a similar seasoning profile, but not the same. Lastly, the Empanada was so crisp. The filling again with a similar but different flavor profile. I think it had a hint of spice or heat, but it was so very mild. If I had to explain it, it was like they shredded the chicken and then added a jar of mild salsa... Kinda like the Herdez brand. The description I know, makes it sound eh, but I promise you it's delicious. The chicken is just too good!!! Just try it. But ya gotta love a lightly bold taste. Can't wait to take the kids!

  Bardstown Rd. Location I went there for a food takeout order, not the atmosphere or service and I was very disappointed with the food. It was expensive for the quality and the only thing I liked was the tostones which are actually over priced for three pieces The pinto beans were awful. Had no flavor and very watery. Will never order again. I had to heat when I arrived home and add seasoning, tomato sauce and sazon to it to give it some taste and color. I wish I would have taken a picture so you could see for yourself.
