I love this place! The food is always fresh, delicious, and filling. All the staff are friendly and funny, especially my server Audrey! She is warm, welcoming, and was very attentive when caring for my table. She assured the food was correct and prompt. I will definitely be back for more fries, shakes, and the friendly atmosphere and smiles. I recommend to all who read!
Look, when your actual legal name is Burger, expectations are naturally sky-high when you step into a joint called The Burger Diner. But man, this place absolutely blew me away.
The burger itself was insane—juicy, full of flavor, cooked to perfection, and honestly worthy of the family name. But what truly set this spot apart was Audrey. Her Southern hospitality is the real deal. From the second we walked in, she made us feel right at home, kept everything flowing effortlessly, and treated us like royalty. Elite energy all around.
If you’re looking for top-tier food and legendary service, ask for Audrey. 10/10, no notes. I'll definitely be back!

The AI food order service is garbage. I placed an order to a robot woman, and when I showed up to the restaurant the order was not even in the system. The employee was kind enough to give me a free slice of cake which was phenomenal. If you're going to implement AI, at least make sure it works. Or just have a human answer the phone. This is not what your customers signed up for.
Do better. Love the food.
burger boy and girl are some of my favorite places in louisville to eat. admittedly, my visits to burger girl have been fewer than to her counterpart. but i visited the Lady this morning at around 2:30 and the most brilliant Angel Audrey was working. she was so patient with my inebriated friends and she chatted with us extensively (the restaurant was empty). She was goofy and silly and perfect. I will absolutely return when she is here. Anyone who comes here treat this woman with the upmost respect and tell her she’s amazing.

Great no-frills burger spot with solid value. The burger had a really good crust and was exactly the kind of greasy, slightly messy you want from a burger. It was built a lot like a Big Mac—two patties, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onion, and sauce—but tasted a million times better; honestly, the comparison almost feels offensive. The fries were awesome too. A really satisfying stop after a Lou City match.
