We’re a bit like our hometown: sophisticated, well-traveled, but grounded in our roots. We believe there’s nothing more important than taking time to dine well with family and friends in a beautiful space. And we have a passion for all things Bluegrass - curing our meats in-house, supporting the region’s diverse farming and food community, and keeping a local-first mindset in everything we do.
Epping’s is located in a renovated historic building that once held Epping Bottling Works, home to the hustle and spirit of local entrepreneur John G. Epping. Today, we are proud to honor that history and be part of the energy of downtown Lexington’s Warehouse Block.

The Natini was delish, a generous pour and smooth taste, as a connoisseur of espresso martinis, this one was one of the best I've had. All of the photos are one or more bite in. I couldn't capture them before the family dug in. Our waiter was so kind and gave the italian donuts to the table for free for my Dad's birthday. He had been wanting to come to Eppings, unbeknownst to me when I booked the reservation. He wants to come back for dinner soon. We all had a great time. My husband loved the hash so much, said it was one of the best breakfasts he has had in a long time and was super impressed by the price for 5, as he picked up the bill for his father-in-laws bday!

My wife, Rachel, and I had an incredible experience from the moment we walked in. I had the meatloaf, and it was honestly one of the best I’ve ever eaten—full of flavor, perfectly cooked, and incredibly satisfying. Rachel ordered the steak, and it was cooked exactly the way she wanted it. She said it was absolutely amazing. A special shout-out to our server, Courtney, who made an already great evening even better. She was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely made us feel welcome. Her service was top-notch and played a big part in making our dinner such an enjoyable experience. From the food to the atmosphere to the outstanding service, everything exceeded our expectations. We’ll definitely be back, and if you’re in Lexington looking for a fantastic dining experience, Epping’s on Eastside should be at the top of your list!
