  Fantastic Food - best chips and salsa in town - Tuna Tacos were fantastic — but the service was even better! Emery and team kept us well supplied with margaritas- thanks again

  The empanadas were supposed to be crab tasted like cheap fish. The shrimp meal I had was eight shrimp and a clump of rice with sauce for $26 terrible. I definitely would not recommend this place and the staff sat at the end of the bar, which is a small place and talked about their Night and who did what. I was not impressed.

  So many good reviews but our experience was a let down. Got sat with friends at 4:45 for happy hour but orders weren't taken until happy hour was over at 5:01...seemed a little intentional because we were a big party. Food was good and love the downtown vibe. Service was the main buzz kill

  Our family was in Lexington and looking for a new dining experience. Our server Amanda was awesome, seriously! She offered me the house hot sauce and cheerfully explained the ingredients. For me, it provided the next level of flavor. The food was delicious, starting with the tasty queso fundido appetizer (shishito peppers are mellow). The environment was eclectic and we were more than satisfied with the entire experience. Yep, we will be back next time we visit Lex!

  I waited to write this review to see if the restaurant management would respond to my email but since they never did, I assume they don’t care. We went to Corto Lima for drinks and appetizers before our reservation at their sister restaurant, 3Ten. My husband and I were first to arrive of a party of 8. We requested a table outside and were told by hostess we could sit at the bar until one opened. After we were seated a lady (maybe manager) who was helping at host stand came and said when the rest of the party show up, they are not allowed to sit at the bar. This made no sense to me. There was only one other couple at the bar. She said they had to reserve the bar seats for dinner customers. When my friends did show and tried to sit at bar, it was all fine until they realized they were with us and then said they can’t sit there. Ridiculous. We are paying customers. We were paying for margaritas and appetizers. It was very rude. We have always loved Corto Lima. But we will not be back after this horrible rude experience.
