  Amazing dinner the first night of our girl trip. The menu has a wide variety of options, the wait staff is very helpful if you want recommendations or have questions. The pretzels with beer cheese were a great starter to our meal. The Seafood Linguini and Filet Medallions w/Scallops were AMAZING.

  While visiting Lexington, I decided to stop at Carson's Food & Drink - On Main after seeing the reviews, and it turned out to be a really solid choice. The ribs stood out the most for me, and I also tried a burger that was good as well. It felt like an easy lunch stop with food that made the visit worthwhile.

  We go to Carson's regularly because it's my son's favorite place. He always wants to go here to celebrate... last day of school, first day of school, birthdays, etc. He's nine and loves the kid's filet with the mac & cheese side. As for the grownups, the Old Fashioneds are great, even the Happy Hour version. The Goat Cheese appetizer is our favorite, as are the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich and Pulled Pork. Honestly, we've never had a bad meal here. Everything is great. We were a bit disappointed that the tall booths had been removed and replaced with a more basic chain-restaurant-style booth. What used to be our favorite seats now feel like sitting in a hole. I docked a star for the loss of those seats; otherwise, great place.

  This was probably one of the best restaurants we have been doing a long time. We were actually visiting a Distillery across the street and they recommended that we checked them out and it was absolutely amazing. My girlfriend got a soft shell crab BLT with pork belly mac and cheese and I got a bearnaise burger with seasoned fries and they were both phenomenal. For an appetizer we got the spicy shrimp that was served with some of the best bread and for dessert was a banana bread pudding which was probably the best I've ever had. We will definitely be back next time we are on vacation. They were super busy so we sat at the bar and we were taken care of even better than if we would have been at a table. I didn't catch her name because we were kinda tipsy but the blonde bartender was adorable and super friendly.

  This was one of those serendipitous finds. Driving south on I-75 toward Lexington, KY, I Googled (yes, that is a proper verb) eateries near me, and it happened to be Memorial Day, so hours of operation were critical. I stumbled upon 'Carson's on Main' not knowing anything about, what turned out to be, a special landmark resturant. Note, there are three inter-related Carson's, each catering to a dining experience. It was my wife's Birthday to boot. So selection and presentation meant everything to me. They delivered! We had a flight of local Kentucky bourbon to complement the outstanding meals, topped of with their Banana Bourbon Bread Pudding! (Don't worry if you don't like bananas because there are very few, and you can always pick 'em off.) Go, Eat, and you won't be disappointed!
