  First let me say, bring your appetite! Stopped in because I was in the area for a vacation and saw the glowing reviews on Google maps. Charming and friendly service. Our server was happy to let us know what her three favorites on the menu were and the sides she enjoyed with the dishes. Very helpful as I at least was having decision-making trouble. I went with the chicken fried steak with cream gravy and some of their housemaid, onion rings and mac & cheese. It was excellent. My companion ordered their veggie plate and enjoyed all of her veggie sides, tasty, green beans, pinto beans, and corn. I wish I lived closer because I’d become a frequent customer. We didn’t have dessert, but from the quality of everything we tasted I’d have zero hesitation to try one of their desserts.

  Made the trip from Mamoth Cave and the drive was well worth it. I got the Chicken Fried Steak and it was great. All the others with me were very well pleased with their burgers, loaded fries and meat loaf.

  I wanted to like this place. Drove about 20 minutes out of our way (with a trailer) to try it. Passed a perfectly acceptable Amish place on the way, just to support the smaller local joint. The waitress asked what we wanted to drink, simple enough: water and a coke. 10 minutes later we were told that they were out of ice, did we want our drinks without ice? Or did we want to wait? We opted for waiting...little did we know, that was all we would do while in this establishment. About another 15 or 20 minutes later we were asked again (by the same server) what we wanted to drink, almost as though we had never ordered. Then, another ten minutes later, we were asked what we want to eat. Broke girls fries were denied because they were out of chili. Pulled pork was offered and that seemed like a good substitute, so my partner ordered that and I settled on a grilled chicken salad with no cheese. We waited for another hour and 20 minutes and had to leave because we were starving and needed to get back on the road. Never once did anyone explain the long wait, or offer to refill our drinks during the total of over 2 hours that we sat in their barely air-conditioned restaurant. We left $5 on the table and departed, so I can't comment on the food.

  SO good!! The place was packed but our service was great. Super friendly staff, cool game room, awesome menu, and the atmosphere was perfect. They have a game room and the sweet tea came in a little pitcher!!

  Waited an hour and 20 minutes for a table of 2 adults 2 kids. Food order was wrong/missing items and never fixed even after addressing the mixup with waitress. Waitress never came back to check after getting drinks or after food was finally brought out. Wife's "chicken fried steak" was absolutely terrible. My burger was good but came with a tiny pinch of fries. Huge letdown especially for the price.... really have no idea how how they get so many good reviews...
