I had a poor experience with this Subway location that has pretty much been my final straw with Subway. I used to eat Subway more often, especially when they had BOGO deals but the food has been getting worse/less and customer service was never good but has really declined to the point that a dumpster raccoon would probably do a better job and be more helpful. On to today's ridiculously poor management of what should have been a minor situation: I had a gift card for Subway that I got for my birthday and finally decided to try to use it because I am recovering from an injury so not really up for cooking. I ordered online and had a family member that was going to pick it up for us. I knew that the amount of meat on Subway subs is now laughably meager, so I opted to pay for 50% more. I also asked for a light amount of mayonnaise. When I get my sandwich, I know something is wrong even before I unwrap it because it's so thin and light, I didn't expect to see any meat at all. It was a foot long roast beef. There were 3 regular deli slices of meat and one torn half slice. The sandwich was $16.24 and consisted of bread, extra mayo (large globs of mayo, a gagging amount of mayo... So much mayo) a tiny amount of meat and some lettuce and cheese. I tried contacting customer service online but only found a chatbot. The chatbot kicked me off twice, so I decided to call the store. I just wanted a credit for the extra meat I paid for and didn't get. I called and explained. The person that answered denied that anything was wrong with my sandwich and that, in fact, they had given me double meat, "at least 8 slices". I had a witness count the meat with me while on the phone and confirmed it was 4 pieces. I asked to have the charge for extra meat credited to my gift card. I was told to bring the sandwich back to show them because they knew they had made it right but if I was unhappy I could get a new one. I explained I wasn't driving because of my injury and someone would have to take time and gas money to go all the way back for a new sandwich, when I just wanted the $2.25 charge for extra meat refunded. I was told the manager wasn't on site but they would need to call them. They called but left the phone where I could hear them call and essentially say that I was complaining about something that wasn't true. Which of course was offensive. The employee came back to the phone, a little more smug this time because the manager also said to bring it back because "there is no way to refund for 2 pieces of missing meat". I admit I got a bit sarcastic at this point because that was such a dumb statement that I'm sure the manager probably did say. I replied that I was certainly not a mathematician, but it would seem if you charge $2.25 for extra meat, that is what you credit the customer when you did not, in fact, supply extra meat. They doubled down. Said bring it back if I wanted the sandwich to have the extra meat. I reiterated that it would require burdening someone else, not myself, with returning to fix their mistake. I was told to contact corporate for my refund. I tried the help chat and their corporate phone line again. I am generally easy going and understanding about mistakes and even subpar food when it comes to fast food. I was offended that I was being portrayed as a liar and that the burden to fix this minor mistake was put on me. I wasn't trying to scam free meals or get the whole meal comped. I just wanted the extra meat charge credited. Such a small amount, but the more difficult and terrible the experience was, the more I wanted the situation made right. Just on principle. I'm sick of poor service at restaurants and stores. This wasn't fixed. Considering how I was treated, I'm waiting to see if I get a rude reply, standard corporate response, or am ignored.

Cadence and Houston were amazingly friendly, engaging and professional . As a large family our orders are usually time consuming and I feel guilty when people are behind us waiting however Cadence worked quickly and was able to complete our 6 subs and a bowl , while Houston helped the other guests behind us with the single subs so that everyone was served quickly and effectively and I didn’t feel awkward for causing delay to the others behind me in line . The whole experience was phenomenal, so much so that I had to write a review. This is the first google review I have written in years because I was so impressed ! Thank you Cadence and Houston!

How ya gonna put 3-4 piece of meat total on a a foot long sub when we order double protein. On a mobile pick up order. That's a bit ridiculous. I'd rather pay more money at jersey Mike's or just about anywhere else. Highly disappointed in the service provided June 25th. I sure hope I get a refund due to this cruddy service.
