I have been to a few different locations of Carrabba's with different results. This particular location consistently has problems with overcooking their pasta which is disgusting. I have tried three different dishes now, without a red sauce, and have found all of them to lack any kind of flavor or seasoning which seems impossible. They're bolognese sauce is delicious and has lots of flavor but yet as soon as it doesn't have tomato in it they seem to forget they have a spice rack. Last night was the worst. We ordered three different dishes and none of them were actually edible. The lasagna had zero texture for the pasta. The flavor of the sauce was amazing but beyond that I was so turned off by the texture I couldn't eat it. We ordered an alfredo dish and it was basically a lump of pasta mostly fused together with a slight amount of some sort of white sauce and some sliced up chicken and canned mushrooms and some peas. The chicken had very little flavor and tasted like it Frozen Tyson chicken strips. The mushrooms obviously came from a can and we're not sauteed or anything so they had no flavor. The white sauce that was supposed to be alfredo only tasted like cream. There was no flavor of any type of cheese and there was so little of it that it didn't even coat half the pasta. Our bill was 72.00 with three dishes and none of it was edible. The salads were great and that's the only reason why they're getting two stars. I'm giving the service for stars because I ordered it online and it was easy to order, they followed all of my special instructions which I greatly appreciated, and the food was ready when it was supposed to be according to the website. I've been inside the restaurant in the atmosphere is fine but this was a takeout order. I have eaten at that location two previous times and the appetizers were good the drinks were good the salads were good but each time I've been disappointed in the main dish that I got. I kept thinking maybe I was just ordering the wrong thing. This is now five main dishes that I have tried of theirs and it appears to be consistent. I would rather go hungry then eat overcooked mushy pasta or consume calories for food that has no flavor. So after paying $72 I had one bite of each dish, a slice of bread, and a Caesar side salad for dinner.

I've been going to Carrabba's for many years, seems to be the one of 2 Italian options in the area. The Good - The food is very good and very consistent, I have not had anything here that I didn't like. I do wish the food was more creative, it basically boils down to pasts with what meat, or meat with what sauce, there is some room for creativity here. The prices are reasonable, the service is outstanding! the manager's there are professional and very friendly. I also enjoy how they have discounted wine during happy hour, and a very good selection as well. I have even noticed higher end wines hitting the menu, that's a nice touch. The Bad - While the prices are reasonable, there are a lot of little nickel and dime up charges on things, change out something and you can get a surprise on your bill. It's not enough to knock off a star, but its notable. The Ugly - None Love this place, Il keep going, it's better than the competition in the area.

I will never eat at Carrabba's again. Frankly, the food is beyond overpriced for what they offer. I ordered a steak from the "chef's specialities" menu they had, with a glass of the "signature" wine recommended as a pairing and was sorely disappointed and borderline insulted across the board. No redeeming qualities whatsoever. The steak, ordered medium, was dry despite being pink and smothered in bland tomato sauce and cheese. Somehow, the sauteed spinach underneath the steak had the most flavor... But that's not saying much. The green beans and mashed potatoes couldn't even be saved with the extra salt and pepper at the table. I would bet money the green beans were pulled right out the freezer and heated up (re: not cooked; it's an insult to call that cooking) on a pan and served as is. Not a lick of seasoning on those "Italian green beans." And the wine. That glass of bottom-shelf, grocery store, mid Cabernet Sauvignon paraded as their "signature" wine. $21. Twenty-one dollars. For a GLASS. Cooper's Hawk doesn't even charge that much, and they're an upscale winery and restaurant that makes EXCEPTIONAL food and even better wine. And of course, the price of a glass of wine is not listed with their pairings. Horrible. Not only will I never eat at a Carrabba's, I will share with everyone I know how insultingly terrible the food was, that the wine is arguably a scam, and to avoid eating there. The only thing I regret more than eating there is not walking out with 75% of my food left on the table. But the waitress, bless her heart, did not deserve that. Carrabba's, don't bother replying to apologize for the insulting service, except to offer a refund. To those reading, if you're looking for an Italian Grill... if you want the Carrabba's price point, I recommend ANY local upscale Italian restaurant, and if you're expecting chain restaurant quality/prices, go to Applebee's. You'll get the same experience for less cost.
