Horrendous service. Had to leave after 20 mins because the bartender still couldn’t make me a drink (after ignoring me for 10 mins until a server had to come over to say hello). The hotel I’m staying at recommended this place and I will be informing them to rethink their recommendations. Hire another bartender that can handle it !!

Firstly, the service was great and it’s a beautiful restaurant. I liked the presentation quite a bit.
However, I would notttt waste my money buying food here again. 😭 The portion sizes are so tiny you feel ripped off and the food isn’t even good! We tried the guac, enchiladas, quesabirrria, flautas, and one of their sizzling plates and I would rank it next to or below Taco Bell (I do LIKE taco bell). Everything felt microwaved. It would be passable if it was cheap, but you’re paying an avg of $20 for each plate so this blew my mind.
I would seriously love to see a menu revamp though! I like the vibe they’re going for, and I’ll be first in line the second I hear something changes.

Great food makes up for the waitstaff who can't stay off their phones!
I was incredibly excited to try this place, but unfortunately, our server Justice completely ruined what should have been a great night.
From the absolute jump, the greeting was incredibly cold. There was zero friendliness or hospitality from her throughout the entire meal. I eat out a lot, and I can easily say Justice was the worst server I have ever had. She made it blatantly obvious that she did not care about her tables or her job. Even after leaving a tip, her attitude didn't budge.
It’s a real shame because the food and the drinks were actually great. The kitchen and the bar are doing an amazing job, but service can make or break an experience. Because of Justice, I won't be coming back. Management seriously needs to address the front-of-house attitude.

It’s been a real struggle to find Mexican food in Cincinnati ever since my fiancé and I moved here a couple years ago. We’re originally from the west coast, with me being born and raised in SoCal. I went from having Mexican food 3-4 times a week to almost once every 2-3 weeks. I’ve looked on Reddit for the restaurants to hit up and just haven’t found anything good or remotely close. I resorted to just making it myself.
When we heard this place was open, we decided to give it a try. I can honestly say it didn’t disappoint. Yes there’s little things here and there that could be improved, but the main critic was the flavor and it was on point. I got the arrachera and my fiance got the carnitas. Both were SOLID on flavor. This was probably the closest dish I’ve tasted to authentic Mexican food and it was perfectly balanced in terms of portion and what it came with. The peppers, rice, beans, pico, and the steak itself all tasted good. The carnitas were also delicious too.
There are a few things that could use improvement. I get the hot plate appeal, but warm/hot guac is not good. The salsa was good but the portion was not enough for two people. The elote corn was not elote corn and didn’t blend well. The queso needs to be thinned out. By the time our food came out, the queso was solid again. The margaritas are poured with a VERY heavy hand.
Even with these critics, I do feel that this place gets 5 stars? Yes. Was it perfect? No it was. But this is the closest I’ve had to authentic Mexican food since I moved. The flavor is there, the plates we got were traditional in terms of how it was served, and they didn’t do all the extra stuff you see other Mexican restaurants doing. If you want your surf and turf smothered in cheese, go to the restaurant you stick with. But if you’re looking quality Mexican food with authentic flavor, then this is your new spot. This place hits close to home and we will definitely be back to try different options.
