After a long work day where every other chili place was closed, I unfortunately decided to give it a try. 50 minutes of waiting later, my order was ready; or was it? The cashier took my card and swiped it like the 15 people before me only to tell me, “we’re cash only, no cards.” I offered another card to use as I’ve never had a card declined. Nope. Didn’t matter. For some reason, cash only for me but card for everyone else. FIFTY MINUTES LATER. Maybe there is a reason people don’t include Gold Star in the conversation about good Cincinnati chili. The service sucks. Honestly unbelievable. Look at my other reviews and understand that this is negative for a reason. I prefer only leaving good reviews but god almighty was this frustrating. Steer clear and go anywhere else or just don’t eat dinner.
