  I stopped into Mad Taco planning to have one margarita. That plan didn’t last very long. The margarita was outstanding, easily one of the best I’ve ever had and definitely in my top ten. One turned into more than one, and eventually I caved and ordered a couple of tacos. Glad I did. The tacos were really good and left me wanting to explore a lot more of the menu. I also had a great conversation with the bartender and manager, which made the experience even better. Mad Taco is still fairly new, but there’s a lot of potential here. I watched some chips go by to another table and immediately regretted not ordering those too. They looked amazing. There are several tacos I already want to try on my next visit, so we’ll definitely be back when we’re in Bowling Green again. But that margarita… I’ll be dreaming about that one for a while. The chase continues…

  Food = super tasty Service = bad Atmosphere = really great vibe, but almost like the place was set up for the employees to relax, chill, and hangout.

  Their food is AMAZING, there is no way to go wrong, everything in the menu is really good. Tried the shrimps, grilled wings, the nachos & barbacoa, their salsas, guacamole, great ceviche and tacos. And the drinks are just delicious too, on my first visit to Mad Taco I just tried one of each on the menu! I loved the coconut mojito 😍😍 and for dessert, try the tres leches cake. Great service, great food. There is nothing I could tell they can improve, they even sold me a bottle of their Diablo sauce so, for sure they have now a loyal customer!

  My wife and I decided to try it since we were staying at the Embassy Suites right behind it. Neither of us cared for the taste of the food. I ordered tacos, there was barely anything on them and what was there was not tasty. They give you 4 tortillas but barely enough filling for one. The refried beans were a very dark color and not good. The queso seemed to have salsa dip in it. The chips were light and bland. Overall, not a good meal.

  We have been a few times now, trying different things on the menu and I believe we have landed on some favorites. I LOVE the Pork Belly Bowl and my partner, the Cobb Salad (with Mad Ranch as the dressing). Last night, we sat at the bar (where we prefer to sit) and the service from Donovan was fantastic. He had shared that there had been some callouts and he was taking care of the bar, a section on the patio as well as inside the restaurant. I would never have known it by the service we received. He was on top of everything and we agreed we had more attentive service last night than on any other visit. And let me just say... the Tres Leches Martini is delicious!! My partner doesn't drink, but I had to order another one because he "shared" so much of mine. New places sometimes have a hard time taking off, but with Donovan at the bar, this place is a WIN!!
