I cannot say enough how amazing and authentic the food is at mad taco! The guacamole is made fresh every 30 minutes. Don’t even get me started about the margaritas! OMG goodness! Lana was a very enthusiastic and attentive waitress. If I had to pick one negative thing to say about it…. We wish they sold drinks by the pitcher. There really isn’t anything negative to say! Highly 10 out of 10!!! This our new fave in the BG area!

We were disappointed, the salsa was ok at best, the chips from a bag. I had a shrimp taco and refried beans. My wife had chicken and tiny bowl of rice. Portion size and taco is not good, the kitchen needs desperately to work on flavor profile. Everything was over seasoned with cilantro, which overwhelms taste buds. All sides our additional cost. We thought the atmosphere was nice, but left disappointed. We ended up getting a burger a couple hours later. There another taco joint about a mile away that is much better.

My first visit. Carnitas and Chicken tacos were good. Ground beef taco so-so. Portions on the small size. Ordered a Grey goose bloody Mary and it was $12.00, which is fine. However I was also charged $2.00 for having it spicy. This is as bad as when a now closed restaurant in Nashville charged me a $1.00 for a block ice cube in my bourbon. That's just being greedy. I will try again select other food choices. However you want to phrase it, $14.00 is too much for the Bloody Mary. It was just Zing Zang and who knows what you do to make it "Mad", probably just a shot or two of hot sauce. Small glass, no celery, one olive.

***Update 31.July.2026: Email sent same evening as the reply below. Still no response from the company after 6 days. I feel like the reply below was just to “appear responsive” on google review. Would not recommend chancing your experience.*** We were excited to try this place, but unfortunately it fell well short of expectations. Service was slow from the moment we arrived, and there was very little interaction or attentiveness from the staff. The bar service was especially slow. We started with the chips and salsa trio. The first basket of chips was mostly broken pieces and had to be replaced. The replacement was better, but all three salsas were bland and lacked any real flavor. We ordered two burrito bowls for our entrees, and both were equally disappointing. They were under-seasoned, lacked flavor, and the rice tasted like it came straight from an instant bag. Overall, the meal was very underwhelming. Hopefully this was just an off day, but based on our first visit, we don’t plan on returning.

All on the same night: I ordered a vegetarian burrito and my friend ordered a beef burrito. I took a bite out of mine, it was beef, I spit it out, I had also put a chip on the plate, I told the waiter our plates are wrong, and she swapped them and put the burrito with a bite out of it on a plate with the bite spat on it in front of my friend. I explicitly ordered a drink where I listed all of the ingredients that I wanted in it (tequila and soda highball with 2 lime wedges) and they brought me out a melon cocktail. My other friend ordered 2 tacos and got 3. I don't think any of our checks were correct and they all had items that needed to be taken off or corrected so it took us forever to leave. The food was ok. What you can expect off a Cisco truck. My burrito was mostly rice, all super cheap ingredients. I remain firmly in the We Have Food At Home Club. Always accepting new members.
