We have ate at the Easy Egg on Kellogg, this is the one on Maize. The interior is very pleasant, the waitress was very nice, and in the beginning the food was very good. However, half-way through my breakfast I found an eyelash under my hash browns...major appetite breaker! We had observed from our table while waiting, our waitress was back in the kitchen where the food was being prepped. Normal...maybe so, but we also noticed her flipping her long hair several times and pushing it away from her face. Now I don't believe wait or cook staff should go back to wearing hairnets, however, maybe there should be some kind of health concerns with using at least a ponytail holder and not touching/flipping your hair around food preparation. If your hair falls where you have the need to push it out of your face, maybe just simple barrettes, bobby pins, headbands, etc. should be used. Double check the plate before plating the cooked food.
I did stop eating (and so did my husband) as soon as I discovered the lash, but when I pointed it out to the waitress there was no concern, no apology, no simple embarrassment type of acknowledgement...very disrespectful to a paying customer you're hoping will come back.
I do realize an eyelash would not be helped much with tie-back or bobby pins, but flailing of the head, brushing hair back from face could.
Next time it could be a head hair, very detouring for returning.
