I ordered a delivery order of a Rockhampton Ribeye 13oz and this is what I got. As you can see in the picture to the left how much FAT was on my 13 oz steak that I had to take off! This steak was definitely $30+ and if you see the other photo on the plate to the left is the FAT vs. to the right is what I had left to eat! Imagine half of your 13oz steak being ONLY fat and then you’re left with a small portion of what you paid. I’m disappointed in the Chef or cook that worked on June 30th around 11:45AM when this was made because this is unacceptable & any chef should see when a steak should NOT be cooked nor sent out with this much fat & it was overly seasoned as well.

Restaurant seemed very unorganized when we arrived. We had a party of 8. I called ahead and we couldn’t get seated until the waitress arrived for her shift. She seemed very uninterested. The food was ok. Chef must like to use pepper because everything from our steaks to the kids chicken tenders had an extra kick. The only thing our table drank was water and ice tea and we never got refilled. When we asked for more water we were brought a pitcher and it was just sat on the table long after the meal was finished. I understand that less than desirable service sometimes happens. It will be some time before I give this restaurant another try.

So we brought my Dad here for an early Father’s Day dinner. He only ever orders salmon at every restaurant he goes to. We got our drinks and appetizer then started placing our order for dinner. He ordered first, selecting the perfectly grilled salmon. We’ve had it many many times and it’s delicious. But the waiter promptly said - oh we are out of salmon. It’s was 5:15 on a Friday night!!?? Well my dad was crushed - he doesn’t eat steak or chicken so that was a huge disappointment. He finally settled on a hamburger and he never wastes food or doesn’t finish his meals and he could barely eat 1/3 of it said it was not good at all. The waiter asked - oh how was the burger, and we said he didn’t like it and it was not good. He replied that he was sorry but did not offer anything else. At that point I feel that a manager should have been alerted and his “meal” compensated, but nothing happened. We got the check and was billed in full. Very disappointing as my dad has Alzheimer’s and doesn’t get out much and this was a big treat he looked so forward to. The waiter was very nice for the most part did a great job but failed to alert a manager in this instance which means he needs better training. We still tipped well but again the purpose of the visit was to treat my 82 year old dad and he truly didn’t enjoy the meal, left hungry, his wine was his only enjoyment. I’m not sure how a restaurant of this caliber was out of salmon at 5:15 in the evening on a holiday (Father’s Day) weekend.

I will not go back. The food was substandard. The steak was really tuff. I asked for no soar cream on my potato and they had to make me a new one. The sauteed mushrooms and onions were soggy and tasteless. The bread eas spongey. The blooming onion was overcooked. The tea was the only good thing. Far too expensive for the quality. They didn't even offer to discount anything. Note: i didn't ask for compensation, but it should've been offered. The waiter knew I wasn't happy. I can only treat myself once a month to a nice meal. Only been in Kansas a few months and hadn't tried Outback yet. Used to go there all the time in Colorado. I will never go to it out here ever again.

The blooming onion was not prepared correctly. Half of it was okay, the other half, the coating would slide off every time you tried to pull some of the petals out. They ran out of tea, service was slow and the server didn't know the menu. We had to wait for drinks, a bread refill took 15 minutes and my steak was under cooked and had way too much pepper used as seasoning. Also, the salad has huge awkward chunks of lettuce. I'm 55 and me and a friend used to eat at the one on the east side once a week for 3 years. I say this so when I say the experience was not to standard you know where I'm coming from.
