  The assistant manager was very helpful and attentive. The staff was welcoming when we entered. The dining area was extremely clean, great music and comfortable booths. The assistant manager gave us recommendations on desserts and the strawberry cake was just as phenomenal as she said it would be. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

  We seriously LOVE Newk’!! Every time we go, it’s just the best experience from start to finish. The food is always fresh and so delicious like, you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. The pizza is SO good (honestly crave-worthy), the sandwiches are amazing, and don’t even get me started on the soups… so comforting and flavorful! Love the salads! Obsessed. They’re fresh, filling, and actually exciting not boring at all.But what really makes it special is the staff. Everyone is always so friendly, welcoming, and kind it just makes you want to keep coming back. It’s one of our favorite go-to spots, and we’re always happy and full!

  I have been to Newk's several times. Food is always prepared fresh, perfect temperature, and fast service. Employees are very professional and polite. Restaurant has a spacious seating area and is always clean. And the food is great!

  Waited awhile after these guys opened for things to settle down and let them get in a rhythm. The wait was definitely worth it!!! We've been here four times now and the food, service, and atmosphere have been great! Specifically, the food quality has been very good and consistent so far and hopefully it continues.

  I was excited to try Newks after learning they were started by the same folks that brought us McAlister's Deli. The restaurant was clean, had a neutral atmosphere, and employees were friendly. Their menu has a good variety of food choices and good options for meal combos. I ordered the Shrimp Po Boy with Lobster Crab Bisque and my wife ordered the Turkey Avocado Sandwich with Pasta Salad. When I order a shrimp po boy, I expect fried shrimp. Newk’s gives you lukewarm peeled shrimp with a slightly fishy taste. The only really enjoyable thing about that sandwich was the bread. The bisque was not enjoyable in any way. My wife’s sandwich was boring in the flavor department as well (the bread was nice) and her pasta salad was “okay”. She did get a free piece of chocolate cake for her birthday and we agreed that that cake was alright, we both appreciated the lightness of the frosting. I don’t know if it was because it was close to closing time or what but overall it was a very disappointing meal. It was definitely not worth $60. I went home made myself a PB&J since I didn’t finish my meal after I ate half the sandwich and a few spoonfuls of bisque. Will not return for another meal or recommend to others.
