The complimentary monkey bread... Omg the best thing I have ever tasted as a complimentary starter! My fiance got the Brutus "grumpy style" and it did not disappoint! The pairings of flavor were unexpectedly delicious! I got the Brutus regular and they aren't lying when they say the sausage gravy is just like grandma made it. Loved this gem of a diner, especially with the history of the name. So cute!!

The food is amazing and the portions very generous. I had the turkey foccacia sandwich and my husband had the smothered burrito. Our server was really great and the whole restaurant was very clean.

Outstanding food, landmark place! Family friendly too. We had the breakfast calzone and the turkey focaccia sandwich. The portions are nice and big so you leave feeling satisfied but not stuffed. It's worth the price. I want to return to try the whole menu!

At Doo-Dah Diner, expectations run a little higher than usual, this is the kind of breakfast spot people talk about. After a long drive, tired and hungry, it felt like the perfect place to reset and start the day right. To their credit, the experience opened strong. The host greeted us with a genuine smile, setting a welcoming tone that made you feel like you picked the right spot. But from there, things settled into a more middle-of-the-road rhythm. Before the main dishes even hit, we were served what tasted like bite-sized cinnamon roll pieces drenched in syrup. It leaned hard into sweetness like a cup full of sugar with no brakes. If you’ve got a serious sweet tooth, maybe it hits… but for me, it was a couple bites and done. I kept it simple with the “basic breakfast” ueggs, hash browns, biscuit, bacon, and coffee. It checked all the boxes, but didn’t go beyond that. Everything was cooked fine, no complaints, just no standout moment either. The kind of plate you eat, finish, and don’t think about again. Overall, it’s not a bad stop—just one that doesn’t quite live up to the buzz. After hearing so many recommendations, you expect something memorable. Instead, it lands in that “it was alright” category… and not quite enough to make the return trip.

I was in town for 2 days. My first morning i came in doo dah for breakfast amd enjoyed it so much i came back again the second. We were seated quickly, even though it was very busy with a slight wait. The food was fantastic, came out quickly looked great, and tasted better. While we were there, the staff was all very kind and attentive. A great sign of a well run resturant. Then owner himself even came out and went around to all the tables checking to make sure everyone was happy. You can tell he takes pride in running a great restaurant. We had a very similar experience on the second trip. So clearly there is consistency in their quality as well. I doubt I'll find myself in Wichita again, but it was great to have some memorable food and service here that id recomend to anyone.
