I would say the service here was trash but that would be a lie. The service was non-existent. I had my order call deactivated twice. The same damn thing happened to the old couple in the van next to me. The staff saw us and didn’t even give either of us acknowledgment. Not even so much as a “hello, we will be with you when we can…” the same crap happened to my wife at the manhattan location. What’s more, I called the number of the wamego location to leave a comment and hear: “Your call cannot be completed as dialed please hang up and try again…” given the fact that happened twice to my family at multiple locations and having seen it happen to other customers who complained to me about the crap service… I am going to tell my friends, extended family, anyone I know who is remotely interested in going to any sonic in any location that this company is pathetic. Standards so low they’re practically six feet under. This review isn’t just about this particular location it’s for the whole damn company. You people don’t deserve business if you’re going to be this way.

This specific sonic struggles. It's not necessarily an employee problem but something with the branch manager or someone higher up the chain. Many of the ordering kiosks don't work for card payments which puts strain on staff to go back and forth to deliver food, then process your payment inside. This leads to delayed times and overwhelmed staff. Some of the kiosks don't work at all and you don't know that until you pull into a spot then need to back out just to pull into another one that doesn't work. More than a few times, I've ordered 2 or 3 drinks only, then left empty handed after 15 or 20 minutes despite hardly any other customers. Other times, I've pressed the button and not gotten a response or greeting at all. It's quite Bizarre that such a well know fast food franchise allows this time of stuff. I don't blame the local employees. It's not their fault. It's 100% an issue above their heads and the employees are just trying not to drown.

That burrito was 4 tater tots, half a jalapeno, three tomato slices and one small fried egg with a stingy squirt of nacho cheese in the middle. All for 7 bucks. Isn't late-stage capitalism wonderful?
Service is great at this location though!
Can't blame local management when greedy shareholders demand infinite growth quarter over quarter. The team at this location does an outstanding job.

For a drive-in, the service is pretty quick. The food is typical fast-food fare, filling, fried, but nothing out of the ordinary.
