Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Very poor service. Waited for 5 minutes. Ended up Using the kiosk. When we started, another customer walked in and was serviced right away. The dining area was a mess. We had to clean a table off to use it. We were 1 of 3 customers in the restaurant.

I love Whataburger and coming to this location, however I will say that the night crew needs to do better. I walked out just now after placing an order at 3:18am. It’s currently almost 3:43am. Anyway, I walked in and I placed an order for a small banana malt. I waited for about 10 minutes or so until I was told that the machine they use needs to be cleaned, or just something regarding the machine, and then I continued to wait patiently. There were a few customers in there at the time and they all got their orders out and ready after waiting a bit. After that, I was the only one in there still waiting. By the time it was 3:40am, I decided to just walk out because I need to be home. I felt like it was pointless to ask if the machine was ready because they all were just talking in the back plus I felt like I was being ignored or something. They weren’t busy at all. I will be refunding my order since I didn’t receive it. The night crew seems to consistently be like this every time I go. I observe time management issues all the time. It’s routine honestly. Hopefully management can address this with them so customers can get their orders out timely. Maybe prioritize drinks and other beverages before making food perhaps?

I was excited an about getting Dodd from this new restaurant but my experience wasn’t as expected. There were two cars ahead of me in the drive thru. After ordering. I waited patiently for the first vehicle to be served. I was the third car in line. The car in front of me sat at the window for about 10 minutes. Then was told to move forward so I could get my order. There were three more cars behind me at this time. It took them another 10 minutes longer for me to get my order. Well I couldn’t go around the car that was still waiting for them to bring out their order. They finally got my order. I still couldn’t leave. So I decided to eat some fried. They weren’t hot. They gave me another order which still weren’t HOT. I sat in the drive thru for at least 25 minutes before I could finally leave. I’m not going back there soon.

We wanted to eat at Whataburger and we had to ask for them to clean a table because none of them were open. We got our food and they forgot a lot of stuff, our food was not right so we ask for them to fix it and the girl roll her eyes and said fine give me your food. We had to ask for them stuff we ordered. When we were eating our food there was so many flies everywhere. I went to the bathroom and both of the toilet were so disgusting. Everyone was rude.

I went through the drive-thru and ordered a sausage egg and cheese breakfast on a bun sandwich and a bacon egg and cheese sandwich. After sitting at the drive-thru window for 7 minutes, I was asked to pull forward to wait for my breakfast as though they were busy. When I finally received my breakfast (an additional 5 minutes later), they're still had not been another customer even enter the drive-thru lane. It must have been a control issue. When I got home, my bacon egg and cheese biscuit sandwich was not what I ordered. I opened it up to a smashed biscuit with a slice of bacon on it. And that's it. When I called, they claimed accidents happen. I know fast food restaurants have a routine for everything that's made. I don't believe it to be an accident.
