Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
It’s clean, but the food is inconsistent and I am actively sitting at the drive thru as of writing this and for the last 5 minutes no staff has realized I am here.

It's unfortunate you can't give 0 stars. I wouldn't wish this place on my worst enemy. It's not just the worst Whataburger I’ve been to, it's BY FAR the worst fast food restaurant I’ve ever been to. The speed of service (or lack thereof) at this place has to be setting records left and right for the slowest "fast" food restaurant in history. I'm certain they make a deliberate effort to be slow, because there's no way they can be that miserable on accident.

The burgers are fantastic, very flavorful! Unfortunately that's where the good review stops. Their fries were terrible and their chicken tenders were dry, overbreaded and flavorless. Sorry folks, not impressed.

Could barely here the person taking our order. Our order was also very botched with multiple wrong or missing items and they didn't put a ticket/reciept on or in our bag.

First time at a whataburger and I had high hopes but the people who claim it’s so great must be high. The burger reminded me of a Burger King burger but with no char. The onion rings were absolute crap and the supposed banana cream shake was lame and lacked banana flavor and on top of all of that I get back to my place to realize they charged for a large 32 oz shake and that’s definitely not what I got. The employees are all so sad looking and there’s not even a fake smile. You pull up to the window and it’s just give me your money without even a greeting. This is one of the few places that won’t get my money ever again.
