Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- RPRichard PinsonneaultJul 23, 20263.007/23/26 I have visited the restaurant drive-through twice in the last four days, asking for the same order (One Double Meat Whataburger, the works, sandwich only). In the first visit, they gave me a Jr. Double Whataburger. In the second visit , after being asked (I had just said, “The works”), if I wanted ketchup, I said, “Yes, Please.” In fact, he asked if I wanted spicy ketchup. Regardless, I then received the correct sized burger with no ketchup. In both situations, the order was not read back to me, which would have caught both mistakes. Bottom line? Whataburger is an excellent establishment. But at this location, there appears to be a management issue at this point in time that may need to be addressed.

I’ve been to so many Whataburgers and this is by far the worst location. The rudest staff. Then after waiting 20 minutes and noticing everyone after us got their food we asked the manager about our order and he said “oops I guess we lost it.” Then the food came out cold and gross. Avoid this location at all costs.
