  A Hidden Mediterranean Masterpiece off Metcalf! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I can’t believe I’ve been driving past this place for years without realizing what I was missing! Tucked away inside the mall right off Metcalf, this little gem has somehow managed to escape my radar—but now that I’ve found it, I am officially obsessed. What a spectacular surprise. The Food: Absolute Perfection I ordered the Gyro Plate, and it blew me away. The entire meal arrived piping hot, incredibly fresh, and packed with authentic flavor. It came with: The Gyro & Beef Meat: Perfectly seasoned, tender, and savory. The Rice & Salad: A flawless balance of warm, comforting grains. The Pita: crispy and warm, goodness. The Tzatziki: Rich, creamy, and the perfect tangy finish to the plate. Everything tasted absolutely amazing. If you love Mediterranean food (or just appreciate a phenomenal, high-quality meal), do yourself a favor and seek this place out. It’s an absolute hidden treasure, and I will definitely be a regular from here on out!

  Mediterranean Taste is a true gem in Overland Park! The food was absolutely fantastic, filled with wonderful aromas and rich, authentic flavors. The meats were seasoned and cooked perfectly, and I was impressed by the wide variety of vegan and gluten-free options available. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely hospitable. Knowing it’s a family-owned restaurant makes the experience even more special. The menu offers an excellent selection of Mediterranean favorites, and don’t leave without trying dessert—the dessert menu is phenomenal and the perfect ending to a great meal. If you’re looking for delicious food, outstanding service, and a welcoming dining experience, Mediterranean Taste is definitely worth a visit! Highly recommended.

  We ordered the beef and lamb plate, appetizer, and addl gyro for 2 people. We have enough food for another meal!! Very good food! Highly recommend! We will be back.

  So delicious! Love this place so much. Food is outstanding. Every item on the menu that I’ve tried is wonderful and don’t miss out on the fresh mint iced tea. Service is also excellent - everyone is friendly and polite. Great experience every time.

  The steak kabob is fall apart tender and perfectly spiced. Better than some steak I've had at a steakhouse. 6/5 stars. The salad is crisp and delicious. The falafel is perfectly crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside. The fruit tartes are delicious with beautifully ripe fruit, sweet cream and delicious pastry shell. Try the sage tea too!
