  Service here was genuinely frustrating. There’s no proper dine-in experience—no trays, no table service. Instead, they just keep shouting order numbers until you go pick it up yourself. It might not seem like a big deal, but it gets annoying quickly and feels poorly managed. What made it worse was the staff attitude. They were rude and oddly bothered that we were using McDonald’s app coupons and deals—something customers are literally encouraged to use. That reaction was both confusing and unprofessional. But the biggest issue was the cleanliness. The entire place was unacceptably dirty—tables, floors, kids’ play area, even the drink station were sticky and unhygienic. Overall, a very unpleasant experience, that too in a McDonald's 🤐

  If I could rate this establishment 0 stars I would. I will be contacting corporate regarding the behavior of an employee at this location. The employee stated his name was “Bob,” though I have not been able to verify that information. I was taking my nieces out because I haven’t been able to spend much time with them lately and wanted to create a memorable experience. I attempted to place my order online, but the system required a table number. I politely asked if there was a number posted in the playland area. Instead of simply answering, he aggressively stated that he would provide the number and then entered it himself in a very hostile manner. That is not how you treat someone who is choosing to spend their money and valuable time at your establishment, especially on a beautiful Saturday meant to be enjoyable for children. The interaction was unnecessary and disappointing. As I did go to Chick-fil-A afterward, they treated me and my nieces with the utmost care, kindness, and professionalism. The contrast in service was very noticeable.

  Subject: Unprofessional Conduct by Late-Night Manager "Mike" Location: 11600 W. 95th), Overland Park, KS 66214 (store 37944) Date of Incident: 4/10/26 Time of Incident: 11:50 PM To: Franchise Owner, Bob Carmichael (Local Management Entity: Alon Management 9218 Metcalf Ave Ste 411, Overland Park, KS 66212 I am writing to formally express my extreme disappointment regarding a recent experience at your 11600 W. 95th, Overland Park, KS 66214 location. During a late-night visit to the drive-thru, I encountered a manager who identified himself as "Mike." Unfortunately, Mike’s treatment was unprofessional, unwelcoming, and notably abrasive. Instead of providing the standard of hospitality expected at McDonald's, his demeanor was hostile making the simple transaction an unnecessarily stressful experience. A manager is responsible for setting the tone for the rest of the staff, and his conduct was a poor representation of your establishment. I questioned if the price of my food item had increased, and was told by Mike, “There’s a war going on, prices are rising.” I value the convenience of this location, but this interaction has left me hesitant to return. I request that this matter be reviewed with the late-night management team to ensure that ALL customers are treated with basic respect and professionalism, regardless of the HOUR. I hope this feedback can be used to prevent similar incidents from happening in the future.
