Prices are ridiculous for the tiny sugar coated air puffs Product has been undergoing shrinkflation and price increases for years to thr point I just can't justify continuing to be a customer. It started many years ago when Krispy Kreme stopped making all the donuts in store. The Chocolate Kreme Filled was my favorite for years. Then it became impossible to get one that didn't already taste at least one day old. Then the holes in the original glazed donuts started to become suspiciously large while the donut diameter stayed the same. Then they even started reducing the diameter and we were getting ridiculously "skinny" donuts. Just concentrate on good value and fresh donuts. Stop with the seasonal and holiday variations. Nobody cares about the decorative donuts and it only increase costs for maintaining all the different supplies and ingredients. Now to Service. Surely if 5-6 people are working at least one of them can help in lobby customers? I've been to the Metcalf and Merriam stores and have been very disappointed by the willingness for them to register my presence and take my order. Last time I just walked out.

While the gentleman spent 10 minutes "looking" for our order, the other employees were arguing with each other and complaining loudly. You could really just TELL they hate being there. (Additionally, during all of this, a rude employee started telling us we were in the "wrong" line, although we had both an online order and regular order) He ended up having to make our order on the fly, and skimped out on a lot of the specialty donuts. These look NOTHING like what we ordered and they also left out the chocolate filled. (Which cost more) We arrived at 8:20am. We left at 8:49am. I get that places can be busy, but we placed an order TWO DAYS ago there is absolutely no reason why it shouldn't be ready. The photos speak for themselves. I'm not ordering from here again.

At the drive thru speaker he asks me to wait and that wait was about 8 minutes before he got back on the intercom. No apology was given for the long wait.. I proceed to tell him my order, he tells me to back up to the yellow pole where the speaker is which is placed slightly before the actual menu board.. So I back up with cars behind me and order and he has me repeat it several times again. I get to the window and there was another long wait. The employees that were in sight, TWO were taking out the trash, ONE employee is assisting customers at the front counter and another employee is bringing doughnuts from the back. When the order taker did hand me my doughnuts and latte, the latte almost spilled because he didn’t secure the lid, so he pushes it down with the same glove he handled my doughnuts with, and I had icing all over the cup. He got the order wrong (ordered 2 lattes) and he seemed to have an attitude since he had to make another latte that he left off the order in the first place. He was very rude and his demeanor was off! He had someone else bring the other latte I ordered to the window after asking multiple times at the speaker to repeat what I wanted only to still get it wrong! I won’t patronize a business that has employees who seemingly don’t want to do their jobs nor serve the public. Server 50 with the wolverine contacts in his eyes needs formal training on how to deal with the public or find a job that isn’t public facing.
