Food is 3 and half stars it's your typical American food. I did enjoy my turkey burger and sweet potato fries . Regular fries are meh , the fried mushrooms batter tasted like country gravy and was soggy due to giant mushrooms. Chicken strips are worth it , crunchy and good buttermilk fried chicken taste whole white meat. Kids menu was okay but ice cream comes from mini tub. Biggest let down was the sauces, ranch didn't have homemade taste, bbq was to sweet and the honey mustard had horseradish....not sweet or tangy. The layout really nice and has small patio area. Giving 4 stars because 3 1/2 not available.

Slow service, but it was noon on a weekday and there were only two other people in the place. I had the chicken tenders, which were tasty but had too much breading.

All I seem to get served here is disappointment. I really want to eat here, I like the food. I really want to support local businesses like this place. They have a unique flavor burger I really enjoy. The problem? They can't figure out how to do it correctly. I ask for one item from the burger to be removed. I'm always very clear and polite when asking the item be removed. The last 3 out of 4 times we've went, it's on the burger. At which point I have to ask for a remake, wasting both of our times and food as no one is eating that food now. It also means I could never order delivery since I couldn't risk it being wrong. Even worse? The upcharge I paid to get tater tots doesn't matter because what I got sent back to me is fries a half order of broken cold fries. It's just so disappointing, and I'm not about to gripe again. I can eat fries, I can't eat what I asked to be removed. I could look past the mistake if they were busy, but the staff on site out numbered the guests when we ordered this time, the instructions were clear there wasn't an excuse that I could give them like I've been able to accept in the past. So at this point I'm writing my review and saying goodbye to the food/restaurant. It's not worth the risk of being disappointed again for me. I hope they can see this review and learn from it. Your burger will be missed, your service will not.

We, my wife and I. We had the displeasure of visiting the Metcalf location where we were invisible to the staff. No one greeted us when we came in. Flag a waitress and told her that we wanted to make a to go order, she gave us two menus and said she'd be right back. We stood there waiting awhile and finally seated ourselves next to the hostess stand. After 20min of sitting there and watching others being greeted and told to sit anywhere, given water and orders taken, we decided to leave. We read reviews about this place and drove 34min to get to it. Our excitement ended when we got inside. I guess we missed the sign that would suggest whites only. After sitting there watching, we decided to leave. My wife came to the brilliant idea of ordering on line, which is what we did while sitting in their parking lot. After yet another wait, wife went inside and got our order. The burger was very good, the onion rings not so good, no crunch and batter seemed a little wet. It's sad that in this day and time, these type places and people still exist. While the burger was one of the best that I've had, I won't be ordering or patronizing this restaurant again. Not saying everyone Black will be treated this way, simply giving our experience.
