  Great selection of beers on tap. I prefer fried mushrooms and pickles to have a breadcrumb wrapping and they have a tempura style batter coating. But the people that had them really liked them. The totachos were good but the bottom ones were sitting in a puddle of cheese so by the time you got to the bottom they were very soggy. The best thing in my opinion were the sliders. Exactly what you expect. Thin patty, onions, American cheese and a steamed bun. Wonderful. My friend got a burger and she said it was delicious. Lots of TV's to watch games.

  We love Burg & Barrel South! We came in on a Monday evening for the slider special and they had just run out of slider buns — which would be disappointing anywhere else, but not here. Dallas behind the bar jumped in and made up a special for us instead. Didn't have to do it, but that's just who he is. That's why we keep coming back. The food and cocktails are always amazing, but Dallas is what makes the place special. Attentive, funny, remembers you, and goes way above and beyond. We absolutely love him. Best bar, best bartender in South Leawood!

  Excellent service. Staff goes above and beyond to help you get the food you want. Food is delicious with a wide variety of options. Only minor quibble is that on peak busy hours, burgers tend to come out Medium-Well regardless of how they are requested. They are still delicious...just a tiny bit less than ideal. There is an outdoor patio that is very welcoming to well-behaved dogs. The staff provide a dog bowl of water, love seeing your friendly dog, and every so often sneak small treats for the dog if time and product allows.

  Came in to try to burgers and we were a little underwhelmed. I liked the onion rings and tots, but burgers themselves were a little bland. Even with all the topping options, the bun is very thick , and the burger patty was thick but lacked flavor, so the overall flavor was muted. They all were also overcooked for what we asked for. Overall, it seems like a great place, I just wouldn't go there specifically for the burger.

  Food: We ordered the pretzel sticks and they came 3 to an order $3.33 a stick most people dine in a twos or fours so three is kinda odd. I got the spicy avocado burger when I received the burger It had one small sliver of avocado. I did order it pink, and I got it exactly that medium rare while cutting my little sliver of avocado I found a small black hair in my burger. The kitchen had a giant window you could see the hole kitchen. I noticed none of the kitchen staff were wearing hairnets or beard nets. I have a full beard my self so it’s hard to complain about a hair in my food (mine is gray). The vibe from the staff was depressing.
