  My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at Bristol Bar & Grill in Leawood, and it was a wonderful experience. The food was outstanding from start to finish. We ordered the mixed seafood grill, crab cakes, and panko-fried shrimp, and everything was absolutely delicious and prepared perfectly. What made the evening even better was our server, Percy. He was attentive throughout the meal, always checking on us and making sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. He struck the perfect balance of being friendly, professional, and genuinely caring about our dining experience. The combination of excellent food and exceptional service made our anniversary celebration very special. We will definitely be back and highly recommend Bristol Bar & Grill.

  My husband and I used to love treating ourselves to this place once a year on our anniversary. Unfortunately, the last 2 times we visited, we were left with a high bill and high disappointment. When we dined here last month, the food was over-salted and the music they were playing in the background was EDM and pop…how strange. We left with a bill of $120 for 2 meals and no drinks, appetizers or deserts.

  We recently enjoyed an exceptional dining experience, and our server, John, made the evening truly memorable. From the moment we were seated, he demonstrated outstanding hospitality, professionalism, and attention to detail. John was knowledgeable about the menu, provided excellent recommendations, and ensured that every aspect of our meal exceeded expectations. His warm personality and genuine care for our experience elevated an already high-class dinner into something special. The service was seamless, attentive without being intrusive, and reflected the highest standards of fine dining. We greatly appreciated John’s dedication to hospitality and would highly recommend requesting him for an unforgettable dining experience.

  Another once great restaurant has slipped: We've been fans of this location since it opened and must sadly say that we won't be any longer. I don't know where to start, but our visit the other night, it was just a different restaurant. From a server with a flippant attitude who couldn't even take a drink order after multiple attempts to explain the cocktail to the kitchen staff who kept wandering into the dining room to do a little dance. I understand it was late, but that's never appropriate. To...the food. It simply wasn't what we've grown accustomed to expect here, certainly not for these prices and our server didn't seem to know that night's specials and immediately tried to upsell us. That alone felt so tacky. My late father ate here once a week, we have always enjoyed quality food here ever since. But things have slipped overall, from the service (at least the night we were there) to the food. Sad to say.

  What an amazing experience! From the time we walked in, everyone was welcoming and helpful. Then we met Joe, our server. We eat out a lot and have never had better, more attentive service. He spent time orienting all to the location and offerings of each buffet and recognized need before we knew what we wanted. Plates disappeared without disruption or distraction. Glasses were never empty. Thank you to the entire team for a wonderful experience.
