We ate here on Friday 8-14-26.
I got the the 8 Oz fillet medium rare and it was cooked to perfection! The lump crab cake were also scrumptious. The asparagus was slightly overdone but still very tasty. The only thing I didn't care for was the whipped potatoes. I thought they were too bland and needed more seasoning. But that is just my taste.
The service was beyond excellent. Our server, Chris (the only Chris there) turned our evening into dinner AND entertainment!
We will definitely request him next time.
There was a computer glitch that increased our bill by $11. But the manager, Kim, corrected it and even took an additional $11 off of the bill.

Percey was an amazing server; we came in for our 30th anniversary on Friday the7th of August and we are so glad we chose Bristol. What made our first experience at Bristol was not only the food (the oysters !) but the AMAZING service we received from Percey; unbelievable the way he explained every detail of what our choices would be and the food did not disappoint!!! The swordfish was as awesome as he had described…..we will be BACK for our 31st!!! And we recommended it to our HOA club as well and recommended they ask for Percey when making a reservation.

Repeat customers, and it's a 5-star experience every single time. As a girl who grew up on the Coast, I always have to get a fresh market fish option here. And they're always incredible. Flavor, cook level, appearance, all of it. Choosing which fish is the hardest part! Swordfish, sockeye salmon, all of it. My favorite sides are the sauteed green beans and broccolini. The shallot jam and roasted pecans on the green beans... my goodness. I got them on my first visit and have gotten them every time since. My husband got the bourbon street pasta this time and loved it, as well. We took nothing home!
The service is always excellent, as well. We've not had a bad experience. They're kind, helpful, friendly to our kids, and just the right amount of attentive.
Bristol just doesn't disappoint. Truly. And it's so difficult to have a reputation of such.

Had to share this because it just makes no sense. We went for our anniversary yesterday and they had a special Prix Fixe menu for either $51 or $61. Problem is the items I ordered if just ordered from the regular menu only totaled $59. So I told the waiter, he had no idea. When he asked my husband if he’d be ordering from Prix Fixe he said no because that’s actually $2 more for the same items. Makes no sense. It was a2 course menu. When our bill came we were charged Prix Fixe price. We didn’t say anything because we’d covered this multiple times but felt like it was not right.

We love Bristol Leawood, it is conveniently located near where we live, which makes it an easy choice. Even more important is the experience we have when we go. The food is excpetional, from the starter rolls to dessert. I had a steak that was cooked perfectly and my guest had the Pasta which was delicious, we then opted for the carrot cake for dessert and I can not put into words how delicious it was. Our waiter Percy was welcoming, friendly and was a nice addition to a pleasant evening. Got a visit from the Manager Kim who was absolutely delightful and made us feel like we were family. Overall this is one of the best dining experiences we have had, and we will definitely be back. Well done Bristol!
