  Have not been to Bristols in a couple years and went back recently and have to say we loved it! Ordered scallops and they were the best we have had in KC. The service, food and drinks were better than I remember and we will be back soon. Spoke to the manager Kim and told her how good everything was and she actually cared. If you are looking for great seafood and cocktails, Bristols Leawood is where you want to go.

  We were sorely disappointed. Had not been for awhile. The clam chowder was in need of potatoes cooking longer and clams were chewy. I got the sea food gril and everything had too much blackened seasoning. My crab cake was delicious every thing else not good. They even tried to redo the shrimp and scallops and cooked them where they grilled other food and they picked up more blackened seasoning. They just tasted terrible. We had carrot cake for dessert. That was extremely delicious . Very very disappointed. Was our 54th anniversary ☹️

  The food was delicious as always. I believe our waiter may have been new. There were some rookie mistakes. But since we were all new to our jobs at one time, I didn't throw him under the bus. The room was a bit chilly to the point my fellow diners did not remove their jackets. I would highly recommend this restaurant and I will be dining here again.

  Nice place for upscale seafood. Lovely, warm atmosphere. Our server was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable concerning ingredients that could cause an allergic reaction for my husband. The menu also stated what wood the meat was cooked over and foods that may cause allergic reactions. Very helpful. The drop biscuits were dry and disappointing but that was the only negative.

  We've enjoyed many good lunches and dinners at the Bristol but never tried the Sunday Brunch. We did that today. The buffet was amazing. From prime rib to made-to-order omelettes, it was hard not to try it all. Thanks to our outstanding waitstaff Ella. She explained the buffet options with excellent recommendations. She was engaging, efficient, and courteous. She made the meal more of a wonderful experience. The attention she gave us will have us going back again on a regular basis Ella is a true asset to the Bristol. Thank you. Give that girl a raise!
