  The food was very tasty and timely but the rock star of our whole experience was Belle! She had no problem bringing us samples of some of the wing sauce varieties. They have a LOT of great options to choose from. She made awesome suggestions, when asked. She went above and beyond to ensure our lunches were perfect for a couple of “picky-ish” eaters, and, always with a beautiful smile on her face. I highly recommend WingStand by Jefferson’s. Ask for Belle when you go in. She will take good care of you.

  Waited 10 minutes at the counter for service and received none. Not a “we will be with you soon” or anything. Just silence from kitchen staff. Take your money elsewhere.

  Honestly it might just be this location, but the wings were very mid and tiny, sauced decently well.. BUT I would definitely spend $20 else where. You might be better off just going to the actual Jefferson’s where the wings are bigger, more flavorful, AND NOT DRY. Again maybe it’s just the Lawrence location but I’ve had the one in KC and it has never disappointed nearly as much as this one.

  Admittedly when they first open the first time I ordered it wasn't that great. But I gave him another chance and they've been good ever since so I tend to order from them when I can or are in the mood for something like their menu

  For a place that specializes in wings, this was unbelievably disappointing. The wings were way overcooked, extremely dry, and VERY small. Honestly, some of the worst wings I’ve ever had. They don’t have that many flavors to begin with, and then they were out of TWO of the flavors they do offer. How does a place that specializes in wings run out of multiple wing flavors? The service wasn’t any better. When we first walked in, it took forever just to get someone to come out from the back and take our order. I counted about five employees working, yet somehow nobody could get to the register. Then we waited more than 30 minutes for our food. While we were waiting, several DoorDash drivers came in and were complaining about how long their orders were taking too. I told one driver we had already been waiting over 30 minutes, and she said she would never pick up from this place again. The most disturbing part was watching what happened with one of the DoorDash orders. A driver noticed there was a problem with the order, so an employee came out and started taking the food out of the bag and setting everything on a small table to check it. A couple pieces of food fell out of the container and landed directly on the table. Instead of throwing them away, she scooped them up and PUT THEM RIGHT BACK IN THE CONTAINER. After watching that, I would hate to be the customer who received that order. Multiple people had been handling and checking the food, and food that fell onto the table was simply put back into the container. On top of everything else, it was extremely hot inside. Apparently no working AC, or at least it sure felt like it. The last thing I want to do when I go out to eat is sit there sweating while eating. The whole experience felt chaotic and poorly managed. Bad wings, long wait, limited flavors, items unavailable, uncomfortable dining room, and food-handling practices that were disturbing to watch. There are WAY too many places to get chicken wings to waste your time and money here. Save your time. Save your money. Go somewhere else. Definitely would not recommend.
