    Every single time I’ve been to this location something, if not the whole order is wrong. I order a bacon cheeseburger plain, it comes with no bacon no cheese nothing. So I order it with everything taken off of it individually and it still comes the same way. It’s absolutely ridiculous and there’s no reason for it. Lobby is always closed and I’m not waiting another 45 minutes to go around the building and wait for my food to be made again. I always have to sit and wait at least 10 minutes for food that isn’t right. Will not be coming back to this location, they can’t even get your order right when you spell it out for them on a mobile order.

    By far the worst mcdonalds around the area, we always have issues with this location. Drive thru and the kitchen are apparently ran by teenage kids who clearly can't count. We ordered 3 meals and waited like 10 minutes to get, you guessed it, only the burgers and fries. When we asked for the nuggets they proceeded to ask for bag of food back. They took each item one by one and asked us to pull forward (by the way taking a whole bag of food back is against health codes, so clearly there is a lack of common sense or a lack of training and cleanliness that needs to be addressed as well). Another 5 minutes, they bring back our food in 4 bags. We asked the nuggets to be in a separate bag since this location also likes to stuff as much stuff into one bag as possible. Again we got 2 out of the three nuggets and our food is at this point cold and manhandled. While asking for the third box of nuggets, you can clearly hear the teenage girls saying that at this point we took 16 nuggets for free. We just asked for a refund i'm not going to sit in a drive thru for cold food while being accused of stealing nuggets, of all things. Procceded to wait another 15 minutes for a refund. The store needs to seriously be studied for being the worst mcdonalds. Be warned this location will call you a thief or short your food. Hope the managers can get this store in check, because we definitely wont be back here.

    I wrote a review about the horrible food that I ate at this McDonald's 4 days ago. McDonald's sent me a link that does not work to get more feedback from me. There is no more feedback, you gave me nasty food. That had been in a warmer or microwaved, and fries that were not freshly cooked. That's all needs to be said. I walked in on my lunch break and asked for a freshly cooked double filet of fish sandwich, and I want freshly cooked, French fries, and I said, I would wait because it takes time for that food to cook. Also, if they couldn't do it, I wish the gentleman that had waited on me had said so, but he didn't. Like I said in my review, I wish I could give them one star. And I did get sick after eating that food due to the way it given to me.

    I have been serviced at this McDonald's. Since 2006 and this is the worst food and service, (because you lied), I've ever experienced at this particular store. There was a gentleman, I guess he was the manager, that took my order. I walked to the counter and specifically told him that I wanted a freshly cooked, double filet-a-fish sandwich meal. I also told him I wanted hot (meaning, freshly cooked) fries. I told him not to give me food out of the warmer and that is exactly what I was given. I mentioned 2006, because I work at the Post Office around the corner and the people that owned this McDonald's before this crew started working there, would honor my requests for a freshly cooked double filet-a-fish sandwich and freshly cooked hot French fries. So I know that the food I received on my lunch hour today was not freshly cooked. So I was stuck with it. The point is not getting a refund or eating nasty food for free. Any McDonald's food that is not freshly cooked and comes out of a warmer. could choke a horse because it's so dry. Microwaved fast food and especially McDonald's that has been nuked, and then gotten cold, is the nastiest food in the world. You also get that nasty taste if the food has been in a warmer for hours. I wish I could have given no stars. I will no longer waste my money at McDonald's period especially not this particular restaurant on Kansas Avenue. Like I did today in Kansas City, Kansas.

    Outstanding Service Recognition for Alexandria and the Team at Store #4549 I have been a McDonald's customer for many years, and while I have had both positive and negative experiences over that time, I wanted to take a moment to recognize an exceptional visit. On June 9, 2026, at approximately 10:20 a.m., I visited Store #4549, located at 4101 Kansas Avenue, Kansas City, KS 66100. My experience was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. Everything was handled perfectly—from the drive-thru speaker, to the payment window, to receiving my order. The service was efficient, professional, and accurate in every way. I believe it is important to recognize employees when they truly deserve it, and today the staff certainly does. I am also willing to admit that when my order is incorrect, I do not hesitate to voice my concerns. However, when things are done right, recognition should be given just as enthusiastically. I would especially like to recognize Alexandria. She is an exceptional employee, and it seems that whenever my order is prepared correctly and my experience is seamless, Alexandria is involved. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and work ethic consistently stand out. She sets a great example for others and represents McDonald's in a very positive way. I sincerely believe Alexandria deserves recognition and reward for her dedication and outstanding customer service. Employees like her make a real difference in customers' experiences. Some people may not think breakfast can affect how the rest of the day goes, but I can honestly say it does. Thanks to the excellent service I received today, my day is off to a great start.
