  it's really hard to mess up sushi and pad thai for me. but when i came to garden and tried itokos since osaka wasn't available, i was floored by the disappointment of my volcano roll. it gave me the vibe of the mcdonalds of sushi, and it seemed more breaded than fried? given i have no idea if deep fried sushi is normally breaded or if there's even a difference, but on the bright side for your sushi to be so glaringly bad that it makes me wonder if there is a difference, youve gotta have some talent. the pad thai was terrible and i would say it was tasteless but i probably would have preferred if it was. it came with lemons on the side instead of the traditional lime which really affected the flavor, and it was bland but salty, and almost tasted sour like the pad thai equivalent of spoiled milk. it wanted to have a slight nutty taste so bad but it just gave icky. the sushi was fine enough for me to finish but the person i ordered the pad thai for couldn't finish it. THAT SAID... the crab rangoons were very good, at least. 😭

  This place is really good :) we love coming here anytime we are in Garden City. Great Healthy options, and still super yummy

  Food was amazing as always! Itoko’s is always consistent with the quality of food and service they provide. Appears they are moving to a larger building which is why I gave them 4 stars for the atmosphere. It’s a little too small for the amount of guests they serve. But that will be remedied soon.

  “Excellent service from our waitress tonight “Yenzin”. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything came out perfectly. Great attitude, fast service, and she made the whole experience enjoyable. Definitely one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a while!”

  We were greeted with a huge smile and swiftly seated. The menu was easy to read, this made choosing our meal easy. Appetizer was great and the meal was phenomenal. Definitely will return and recommend!
