- BMBrian MSep 11, 20261.0Can’t rate the food since they wouldn’t serve us. Service and atmosphere (employee attitudes) seriously lacking and far from good. Pulled into town from out of state with a college soccer team. Went to get some food before the game and when we walked in at noon, there was nobody in the restaurant but employees. We were immediately greeted with scowls and attitude. Rude Lady behind the counter told us that because we didn’t call ahead that they would not have enough meat to make our sandwich’s. (20 athletes, 2 coach’s and a driver). So Jimmy John’s right next to a college campus doesn’t have enough meat to make 23 sandwich’s at noon on a Friday?? Doesn’t sound right. We got back on our bus and went a couple blocks over to Subway where we were greeted with smiles and they quickly made our sandwich’s without any hesitation. I assume the owner of JJ’s wasn’t there or the attitudes and service would’ve been different. Nobody else in the restaurant at noon on a Friday next to a college campus tells me that word of their service has gotten out. It’s a shame to turn business away, especially when there was none to begin with.
