Used to love this place.. No more authentic style Korean food - only bowls, boneless chicken, and a some stews. To start with the atmosphere: it used to be very cozy and had personality. Pictures of Kpop idols on the walls, neon signs, Korean signage, Korean music and videos on the walls from a projector. Also used to have round grill tables with Korean pocha style chairs. Now only bland plant decorations and a coke machine in the corner. All of the Korean decorations have been taken down and it feels very western-focused. Even the music is generic english pop now. The Korean identity of the restaurant has been stripped away completely and it's sad to see. I read through some of the owner responses and it seems they wanted more fast serving style but then the restaurant name doesn't even make sense anymore. Why is it pocha if it is just Korean chipotle with soju on the side.. the drinking vibes aren't right anymore. Bibibop is down the street with the same vibe minus the expensive alcohol. Pocha's are for staying a while and drinking with friends, not fast in and out service. Speaking of service it was good. Quick and easy. The food was also ok, not as good as before. The stew doesn't come in a stone bowl anymore, not even a bowl for the rice. Just take out containers and plastic silverware. The taste was saving it but it wasn't as good of an experience as before. It seems everything has changed this summer without any update on socials or google images so it's very confusing walking in. Not sure how students will react.

The food comes out fast and is good as well. The store is very clean and the atmosphere is cool. The menu changed to Korean style bowls now and I think it it pretty good.

I loveeeee this restaurant. As someone who is very ingredient, conscious this place provides me with A guilt free meal when I’m on the go and have no time for meal prep. Everyone in there is so nice to me and I love that. I am able to sample things if I decide to try something now.

Omg, I don't even know where to start. When I first arrived to the restaurant this sweet, pretty, attentive, young woman named Nicole greeted and sat me down. She took her time to show me the menu and pointed out the favorites on the menu. The music playing in the store was giving off a vibrant and energetic yet nice vibe. After I ordered, Nicole asked if I was doing okay and checked on me frequently. Now the best part about this whole experience was the food. These cooks/chefs deserve a raise because my food was "The Bomb . Com". You can say it was finger licking good, even though I used plasticware. I really enjoyed my time going there, I wouldn't hesitate to go again and take a friend or friends to share the great experience I felt. Keep up the awesome work!

My young daughter used to love coming to the restaurant to see all the Kpop photos, and the food was delicious. The remodeling and menu change are quite disappointing, even more so because nothing was properly announced on their social media. Had I known that they were going to change so much, I would have come one last time before the menu switch. I understand the business incentive though.
