First time coming here, pretty much the whole staff line was young and had zero customer service skills. I was told that there was no chicken. Spicy chicken 15 minute wait and regular 45. All they had was the curry chicken so i decided on that. Ordered a small bowl and then was told at checkout that i was going to be charged for an original bowl because of the choice of chicken. I then asked to be given a regular bowl then and they told me there would be no difference in amount. I’m honestly so disappointed with this service. The food wasn’t bad but the chicken had definitely been sitting out and was burnt at the bottom.

I give this place two stars. The girls working there are very young and seem like they have no real restaurant management.
The food is good, but you can’t really screw up making rice and cutting up a bunch of vegetables or can you??
This was my second time there in about a week. The first time was good but I think I came at just the right time no crowd and they had miso soup. Delicious.!!
The second time I came was a disaster. And they had no miso soup. We asked them about it. They said it would be ready in a couple minutes. We waited 15 minutes and finally went and asked about the soup and they said yeah we’re not gonna have anymore tonight. It’s 5pm!! Somebody could’ve told us instead of telling us to just wait. I have to admit the free miso soup is a real attraction, at least that’s why I like going there versus any other Asian restaurant.
Overall, the staff is just too young and
inexperienced. The other thing I noticed is only African-American workers. They couldn’t find an Asian to work in an Asian restaurant? And even though I’m glad to see that they have people of color working there, It’s almost like some girl went to high school and said to her friends let’s all get a job here and I’ll be the manager… and honestly it looks like none of them have any restaurant experience or know how to clean!!
We all hope you can turn this restaurant around because the food looks fresh and good quality. We just need someone with restaurant management that knows how to run a kitchen.
AND DONT LET THE MISO SOUP RUN OUT!!
I have to admit though, after reading all the bad reviews that all sound like mine I’m not sure I’m going to try this restaurant for a third time, or I can just wait for the next restaurant that comes in the space.

This location unfortunately will not last long.i was excited to see a gluten friendly option in the area. The service is absolutely horrendous. My first visit I stood near the register waiting for a lid for my sauce for 10 minutes before I could flag an employee to even acknowledge me. Second visit they weren’t even close to being opened when I arrived just before 11 although hours state 10:30. They didn’t have the drink station set up, no tea or lemonade available, soda fountain not put together, no soup. No kale although it allowed me to order it online. “ fresh baked cookies daily” . Not even close ,rock hard and crumble like sand just breaking off a bite. Barely any meat at all on the bowl. Cleaning is lacking. They do not care if you submit feedback , the franchise owner is only worried about collecting what money they can at the time as is obvious by the reviews, even upon calling corporate guest services of BiBibop they DO NOT CARE. So unfortunately just a wasted space at Eddy street until this too shutters its doors.

It is hard to earn the title of "worst service on Eddy Street" as horror shows such as Bru Burger and the infamous Eddy St Chipotle exist just feet away. However, BIBIBOP has taken the title and by a significant margin. Admittedly, the food is pretty good...if you are lucky to have any when you finally get to the front of the line. Expect to wait for at least 30 minutes, even when there are only 5 or 6 people in front of you. Your bowl will be cold by the time you pay for it. Don't even bother asking for more food or for food that has run out or you will be yelled at by staff (happened to me and others that I have witnessed). Don't expect to get any free miso soup as it is never available. The specialty lemonades are warm. Most importantly, NEVER ORDER ONLINE! I went into the restaurant and said hello to a friend who had ordered online. I had waited 20 minutes and realized most of the food had run out, so I left and went to Dave's, got my food, and ate my food. And my friend was STILL WAITING FOR THEIR FOOD by the time I was done! It is a shame because the food is actually pretty good, but this place has existed for a few short weeks and is already the laughing stock of the university. They don't stand a chance, I'm afraid.

We arrived here on a Saturday evening at 8PM to order dinner. Our food took 30 minutes to receive. That is incredibly way too long. I included photos of the line.
The staff do not have any sense of urgency, constantly working very slowly even with the long lines. They kept prioritizing online orders and door dashes instead of the lobby customers. The line kept growing longer and longer without any movement. When the people in front of me had their order started, after scooping the rice, the staff worker suddenly started wiping the table. Their food started getting cold as the worker kept walking between the table and the trashcan. She did not change her gloves before going right back to serving food.
This location overall needs more training with their staff members and more workers in general. I’m disappointed.
As an Asian, this is not at all a reasonable representation of Asian cuisine. None of the staff members there are Korean themselves, including the owner. If you’d like an authentic Korean restaurant, please visit Seoul Garden or Hancook, both amazing Korean-owned small business restaurants. I wanted to give this place a try since they were new, I will not be returning.
