  1/5 Stars — A Complete Failure in Quality Control and Value I am writing this review to express my profound dissatisfaction with my recent visit to the Chipotle Mexican Grill located in Plainfield. While I understand that fast-casual restaurants can occasionally have an off day, the meal I was served was so fundamentally flawed and systematically poor that it demands a detailed public warning. Frankly, assigning this establishment a single star feels far too generous. Let us begin with the proteins, which are supposed to be the centerpiece of the dining experience. The food across the board was shockingly bland, entirely devoid of any discernible seasonings, and alarmingly close to raw in certain bites, rendering the entire meal virtually inedible. The steak—which the company markets as a premium item—was completely flavorless. It lacked any hint of marinade, salt, or the signature grill char, tasting instead like unseasoned, boiled meat. The barbacoa was somehow even worse. Rather than being tender and deeply spiced, it had the consistency of wet mush. It lacked any textural integrity whatsoever, resembling a thoroughly unappetizing paste rather than slow-braised beef. The structural components of the meal were equally disastrous. I was served taco shells that were limp, profoundly sad, and unmistakably stale. They possessed absolutely zero structural integrity, instantly crumbling and breaking apart the moment I gently attempted to open them to eat. It is incredibly frustrating to be served a product that is so poorly kept that it cannot even function for its intended purpose. Furthermore, the red tomatillo salsa was an absolute travesty. Generally known for providing a robust, spicy kick, this location's iteration was tragically watery, exceptionally bland, and completely devoid of any heat. The only identifiable flavor profile was a pungent, overpowering taste of raw onion. Instead of elevating the dish, it simply turned an already disappointing meal into a soggy, unpalatable mess. The overarching quality of this food was so remarkably poor and carelessly prepared that it fails to meet basic culinary standards; I genuinely would hesitate to serve food of this caliber to a dog. What truly exacerbates this miserable culinary experience is the exorbitant cost attached to it. This Plainfield location serves as a glaring, textbook example of a greedy corporate entity aggressively cutting corners at the consumer's expense. It is blatantly obvious that they are minimizing portion sizes, utilizing cheap, substandard ingredients, and ignoring basic back-of-house quality control, all while continuously raising their prices. They boldly market and price their menu as a "premium" product, yet the reality on the plate is nothing short of an insult to the paying customer. There is absolutely no justification for charging such high prices for food of this appalling quality. It is immensely frustrating to part with hard-earned money for a meal that is drastically inferior to what I could easily—and far more affordably—prepare in my own kitchen with minimal effort. I will unequivocally not be returning to this Plainfield location, and I strongly advise local residents to spend their dining dollars elsewhere. Save your money and your appetite until this establishment decides to take its food quality and its customers seriously.

  Top tier chipotle! Way better than that crappy one near Rural King in Avon. Actually it's probably even better than the other one in Avon. It's big, always a clean vibe, and the employees are usually great. Especially Cole! He's honestly the highlight of the entire experience Quite a dynamic guy, never rude, never boring, would recommend meeting this guy🤣🤣 Over all great chipotle

  We frequent this place, but recently, my silly daughter ordered from the wrong location. This location took care of it and quickly filled my order at no charge. Appreciate the customer focus…even when it was our goof.
