I normally don't leave negative reviews, and for years I never had any significant issues with this Chipotle. In fact, back in 2023 I rated this location **4 out of 5 stars** because my orders were consistently correct and the overall experience was good.
Unfortunately, throughout 2026, my experience has been completely different.
The first issue wasn't even entirely the restaurant's fault. Like many locations, they have dealt with people stealing online pickup orders. While that's frustrating, I understand that can happen. However, after that, I began experiencing problems that were entirely preventable.
The first major issue occurred when I placed an order through Uber Eats. After driving less than half a mile away, I checked my food and realized I had been given the wrong order. Since I don't eat pork, the meal was unusable. I returned to the restaurant, but because of company policy, I was told they could not take it back or replace it. As a result, I lost over $30 on a meal I couldn't eat. While I understand businesses have policies, it was still disappointing to pay for a mistake that wasn't mine.
A few months later, I decided to give the restaurant another chance. This time, I found what appeared to be a stink bug wrapped inside one of my three soft-shell tacos. After a long day at work, that completely ruined my appetite and raised serious concerns about food safety and sanitation.
Despite those two experiences, I decided to give the restaurant one final opportunity. I ordered six soft-shell tacos and two sparkling waters. The order itself was correct, but the food appeared to be undercooked. Within the next couple of days, I experienced what I believe were food-related stomach issues. Whether or not that was the direct cause, it was enough for me to decide I would not be returning.
I understand that restaurants can be busy, employees can become overwhelmed, and mistakes happen. I'm not here to attack the staff personally. However, when mistakes become a pattern—incorrect orders, concerns about sanitation, and food quality—it reflects a breakdown in quality control.
At my own job, I can't ignore quality standards and expect to keep my position. I believe restaurants should be held to that same level of accountability. Customers should be able to trust that they're receiving the correct order, that food is prepared safely, and that proper sanitation practices are being followed.
I'm not sure whether these issues are the result of understaffing, high employee turnover, inadequate training, or something else. I can only speak from my personal experiences over the past year, and unfortunately they have been consistently disappointing.
Because of these repeated issues, I can no longer recommend this particular Chipotle location. My rating has gone from **4 stars in 2023** to **1 star today**. I encourage others to read recent reviews before choosing this location, as my experience has been a complete decline from what it once was.
I genuinely hope management addresses these concerns, because this location used to be one I enjoyed visiting. Unfortunately, after three separate negative experiences, I won't be returning.
