Just went to the newly opened Saltgrass Steak House. Had a great experience and I was so impressed that Kelley sp? Had amassed a great team to train and a great team to do the training. My steak was done perfectly (and tasty I might add). We started out with their warm bread and had delicious fried mushrooms for our appetizer. I look forward to my next visit there as this one was so good. I am sensitive to loud noises and found the music was subdued and had no issues there. I had made reservations ahead of time and found that our table was dressed and ready to go as well, not a last minute “oh well find you a place”.

My wife took me here for my birthday, they had only been open 2 days so I was a bit concerned. The service was top notch, the food was amazing! I am a steak snob, my Bone in Ribeye was cooked perfectly and one of the best I’ve ever had!

For a restaurant that had only been open a few days, I was genuinely impressed overall. The food was solid and comparable to chain restaurants like LongHorn Steakhouse, Texas Roadhouse, and Aspen Grille. The range rattles, salads, steak, and baked potato were all good, with the steak cooked perfectly to my requested medium rare. My main criticism was the fried shrimp, which lacked the crispiness I expected and had more of a soft, bread-coated texture. The shrimp also had a slightly fishy taste to me, although my dad did not notice it, so I consider that more of a personal preference. The bread and butter were the biggest areas needing improvement; the bread was not served hot, and the butter lacked the flavor I expected. The service, however, was outstanding and felt closer to fine dining than a typical chain restaurant. Employees were attentive, kept drinks filled, replaced silverware when needed, and consistently made sure everything was taken care of. Karen, my server, was especially kind, respectful, fast, and humble. I hope the restaurant maintains this level of service. The atmosphere was also excellent. The restaurant was clean, comfortable, spacious, and provided an elegant Texas-inspired experience without feeling crowded. Overall, I’m giving the restaurant a 5/5 despite rating the food 4/5. Most of my food criticism comes down to personal preference, and the restaurant has plenty of time to improve. My main recommendations are to use a crispier batter for the fried shrimp, potentially similar to the range rattler batter, serve the bread hot, and improve the butter with either salted butter or a sweeter honey-based flavor. With continued improvement, this restaurant has a lot of potential.

My new favorite restaurant in Noblesville. Fills a void between the cheap steakhouses (Logan's, Texas Roadhouse, Longhorn, etc) and the high end places. The food is great and the service (at least on the second day of operation at HTC) was exceptional.

It was a really phenomenal experience! The service was excellent from start to finish. The pacing of the drinks, bread, salad, and entrees were spot on. We have always loved Saltgrass when vacationing in Texas, so we are happy to have it so close to home!
