It's too much. The cheese is nasty, real Mexican food is NOT drowned in cheese. When my husband asked for it on the side he was told no, because he already asked for the sour cream and Pico to be on the side! Like, what? Is too much to take away the things I don't want? Won't take my business here anymore.

- CGCarol GApr 17, 20262.0We have two kids with food allergies, so eating out is already a challenge. We hadn’t had Mexican in a while, so we brought safe food for them and decided to give PV a try. Within seconds of sitting down, the waiter comes over and tells us outside food isn’t allowed, mentioning the sign on the door. I explain our kids have food allergies, and his response is, “It doesn’t matter. No outside food. Next time don’t do that.” Message received. Policy clearly matters more than common sense or basic concern for kids with allergies. Bold choice, especially when there’s also a sign stating their food contains all the major allergens. I wasn’t going to argue in front of my kids, but the attitude alone ruined the experience. The food didn’t help their case either. The salsa was awful and the rest was completely forgettable. We’ll stick with El Nopal, where the food is actually good and the staff knows how to treat people.
